Journal ArticleDOI
Pilot trial of the hu14.18-IL2 immunocytokine in patients with completely resectable recurrent stage III or stage IV melanoma
Mark R. Albertini,Richard K. Yang,Erik A. Ranheim,Jacquelyn A. Hank,Cindy L. Zuleger,Sharon M. Weber,Heather B. Neuman,Greg Hartig,Tracey L. Weigel,David M. Mahvi,Mary Beth Henry,Renae M Quale,Thomas McFarland,Jacek Gan,Lakeesha Carmichael,KyungMann Kim,Hans Loibner,Stephen D. Gillies,Paul M. Sondel +18 more
TL;DR: Prolonged tumor-free survival was seen in some melanoma patients at high risk for recurrence who were treated with IC, and exploratory tumor-infiltrating lymphocyte (TIL) analyses suggest prognostic value of TILs from Group A patients.
Journal ArticleDOI
Microwave Ablation of Hepatic Tumors Using Dual-Loop Probes: Results of a Phase I Clinical Trial
TL;DR: Dualprobe lesions were created by placing the probes in both tumors and normal livers and results in complete tumor kill at the ablation/tumor interface, and adjacent to surrounding blood vessels.
Journal ArticleDOI
Phase I study to evaluate toxicity and feasibility of intratumoral injection of α-gal glycolipids in patients with advanced melanoma
Mark R. Albertini,Erik A. Ranheim,Cindy L. Zuleger,Paul M. Sondel,Jacquelyn A. Hank,Alan J. Bridges,Michael A. Newton,Thomas McFarland,Jennifer Collins,Erin Clements,Mary Beth Henry,Heather B. Neuman,Sharon M. Weber,Giles F. Whalen,Uri Galili +14 more
TL;DR: Repeated intratumoral injections of α-gal glycolipids are well tolerated, and tumor necrosis was seen in some tumor nodule biopsies after tumor injection with α-Gal glycolIPids, and no systemic toxicity or autoimmunity could be attributed to the therapy.
Book ChapterDOI
Biopsy of Skin Lesions
TL;DR: This chapter discusses the complexity of issues to consider when determining to do a relatively easy and inexpensive procedure – punch biopsy.
