Substituted Aryl Benzylamines as Potent and Selective Inhibitors of 17β-Hydroxysteroid Dehydrogenase Type 3
Nigel Vicker,Helen V. Bailey,Joanna M. Day,Mary F. Mahon,Andrew Smith,Helena J. Tutill,Atul Purohit,Barry V. L. Potter +7 more
TL;DR: Aryl benzylamine-based 17β-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase type 3 (17β-HSD3) inhibitors were designed and synthesised as potential agents for prostate cancer therapeutics through structure-based design, using a previously built homology model with docking studies as mentioned in this paper.

Carla Carfagna,Nicholas Carr,Robert J. Deeth,Stephen J. Dossett,Michael Green,Mary F. Mahon,C. Vaughan +6 more
Journal ArticleDOI
Asymmetric Synthesis of Amines Using a Chiral, Non-Racemic, Benzylidene Sulfinamide Derived from a Recoverable Precursor.
TL;DR: In this article, the homochiral cyclic sulfinamide S(s)R-(+)-1 has been employed for the asymmetric synthesis of α-substituted benzylamines via the benzylidene sulfinamides.
Journal ArticleDOI
Sterically Hindered Organometallics. Synthesis of Four-Membered Rings Containing Tin, Oxygen, and Sulfur. The Crystal Structure of 2,2,4,4-Tetrakis(2,4,6-triisopropylphenyl)-1,3,2,4-oxathiadistannetane.
Journal ArticleDOI
Gold‐Catalyzed Cascade Rearrangements of Ynamide Propargyl Esters.
TL;DR: The Au-catalyzed [3,3]-rearrangement of ynamides (I) affords highly reactive α-acyloxyallenamides, which can be trapped through the reaction with nucleophilic indole derivatives (II) as mentioned in this paper.
