Journal ArticleDOI

A phosphorescence study of jet-cooled xanthone

TL;DR: In this article, the rotational envelope has been analyzed and it is concluded that the intensity of the T 1 origin band mainly comes from the direct spin-orbit coupling with the S 2 1 A 1 (ππ*) state.
Journal ArticleDOI

Radiative and Nonradiative Processes in the Excited States of Jet-Cooled Oxalyl Chloride

TL;DR: In this article, a vibrational analysis of oxalyl chloride (COCl) has been carried out in a supersonic jet and it has been shown that the molecule has C2h symmetry in the T1 excited state as well as in the S0 ground state.
