Journal ArticleDOI
Development of 10 kW-scale hydrogen generator using chemical hydride
Yoshitsugu Kojima,Kenichirou Suzuki,Kazuhiro Fukumoto,Yasuaki Kawai,Masahiko Kimbara,Haruyuki Nakanishi,Shinichi Matsumoto +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors developed a hydrogen generator that generates high purity hydrogen gas from the aqueous solution of sodium borohydride, NaBH 4, using a Pt-LiCoO 2 -coated honeycomb monolith.
Journal ArticleDOI
Hydrogen generation by hydrolysis reaction of lithium borohydride
TL;DR: The gravimetric and the volumetric hydrogen densities increased with increasing water added (H2O/LiBH4) followed by a decrease as discussed by the authors, and the densities reached their maximum values at H 2O/H2H4=13.
Journal ArticleDOI
Development of metal hydride with high dissociation pressure
Yoshitsugu Kojima,Yasuaki Kawai,Towata Shinichi,Tomoya Matsunaga,Tamio Shinozawa,Masahiko Kimbara +5 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a high-pressure MH tank with a hydrogen-absorbing alloy with high dissociation pressure and compressed hydrogen was constructed, and the van't Hoff plots showed that the hydrogen capacity changed gradually over many cycles and that after 1000 cycles was 94% of the initial capacity.

High pressure tank
TL;DR: A high pressure tank has a cylindrical liner and a fiber reinforced plastic layer which covers the outer surface of the liner at least one end of the liners is separable.

Gas storage apparatus
TL;DR: In this paper, a hydrogen storage apparatus that includes multiple gas storage tanks that each house a storing/adsorbing material and through the interior of which a fluid travels is provided.
