Journal ArticleDOI

Membrane-rigidifying effects of anti-cancer dietary factors.

TL;DR: Anti‐cancer dietary factors appear to act on more fluid membranes like tumor cells as well as doxorubicin to induce rigidification, especially in the hydrocarbon core of membrane lipids, which is determined by the composition of cholesterol and unsaturated phospholipids.
Journal ArticleDOI

EGF‐stimulated signaling by means of PI3K, PLCγ1, and PKC isozymes regulates branching morphogenesis of the fetal mouse submandibular gland

TL;DR: Findings indicate that signaling from the EGF receptor in the fetal mouse SMG varies with development and triggers stimulatory effects by means of ERK‐1/2 and PI3K but inhibitory effects by Means of PKC isozymes.
Journal ArticleDOI

Mesenchymal miR-21 regulates branching morphogenesis in murine submandibular gland in vitro.

TL;DR: The results suggest that branching morphogenesis is regulated by miR-21 through gene expression related to ECM degradation in the mesenchyme.
Journal ArticleDOI

Signaling pathways activated by epidermal growth factor receptor or fibroblast growth factor receptor differentially regulate branching morphogenesis in fetal mouse submandibular glands.

TL;DR: It is suggested that EGF stimulates cleft formation and drives branch formation via ERK‐1/2, and that FGF7 stimulates both clefts formation and stalk elongation via PLCγ1 and partly via ERk‐1 /2, but that F GF10 stimulates stalking elongation mainly via P LCγ1.
