A switched reluctance motor includes: a stator including a cylindrical body, a plurality of salient poles coupled to an inner circumferential surface of the cylindrical body and provided with a winding coil, and an exterior member formed as a cylindrical shape by encompassing an assembly formed by coupling of the cylindrical body, the salient poles and the like; a rotor rotatably inserted inside the exterior member of the stator; a rotary shaft coupled to the rotor; and a phase indication magnet coupled to the rotor or the rotary shaft. Accordingly, an external structure of the motor is simplified, and the number of components and the number of assembling processes are remarkably reduced.

Switched reluctance motor

In an automatic transmission position control by a motor, it is determined whether the present instant belongs to a starting period, that is, the present instant is immediately after resetting of a control unit or application of power to it. If it is the starting period, an actual shift position that is detected from an output of an output shaft sensor for detecting a rotation position of a motor is set as an instructed shift position. With this measure, even if the control unit is reset for a certain reason while the vehicle is running, the instructed shift position is not changed in association with the resetting. This prevents trouble that the shift position is switched contrary to the intention of the driver, whereby the reliability of a position switching control can be increased.

Motor control apparatus

A SBW-ECU prohibits driving of an electric motor by turning off power supply to the motor by a drive prohibition device, when a diagnosis part of a by-wire control circuit determines that a shift-by-wire system is abnormal or a monitor circuit determines that the by-wire control circuit is abnormal. In this case, the motor is stopped from rotating by execution of power supply phase fixation processing, by which a power supply phase of the motor is fixed without switchover, when the motor is driven to rotate at the time of determination of abnormality of the shift-by-wire system. Then the prohibition device prohibits driving of the motor by stopping the power supply to the motor.

Vehicle control system

A system for determining an angular position of a pair of steerable wheels of a vehicle having a plurality of wheels can include a yaw rate sensor, a pair of wheel speed sensors and a controller. The yaw rate sensor can be configured to output data representative of an angular velocity of the vehicle about a vertical axis of the vehicle. Each of the pair of wheel speed sensors can be configured to output data representative of a rotational velocity of a respective one of the plurality of wheels. The controller can be in electrical communication with each of the pair of wheel speed sensors and the yaw rate sensor. The controller can be configured to determine a first steering angle based on data received from the yaw rate sensor, to determine a second steering angle based on data received from the plurality of wheel speed sensors, and to select one of the first steering angle and the second steering angle for use in manipulating various vehicle parameters, including torque vectoring parameters, among other parameters.

In a rotary electric machine, each stator coil includes a bobbin that is fitted to one of teeth of a stator core and a phase coil is wound around the bobbin. Each bobbin includes a bobbin terminal for connecting opposite ends of the phase coil. A stator housing includes an insert mold and a plurality of stator terminals embedded in the insert mold to be connectable to an outside electric device. Each stator terminal has a first contact portion and each bobbin terminal has a second contact portion in contact with the first contact portion when the stator core is accommodated in the stator housing.
