Abstract: The present technology relates to an encoding device, an encoding method, a reproduction device, a reproduction method, and a program enabling each reproduction equipment to reproduce an appropriate content in a simplified manner. A content data decoding unit decodes encoded metadata and outputs zoom area information, which is included in metadata acquired as a result thereof, designating an area to be zoomed. A zoom area selecting unit selects one or a plurality of pieces of zoom area information from among the zoom area information. A video segmenting unit segments a zoom area represented by the selected zoom area information in a video based on video data and outputs zoom video data acquired as a result thereof. An audio converting unit performs an audio converting process according to the selected zoom area information for audio data and outputs zoom audio data acquired as a result thereof. The present technology can be applied to a reproduction device.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize high-precision echo suppression with higher arithmetic efficiency.SOLUTION: A Fourier transformation part obtains a narrowband input signal and a narrowband reference signal by performing Fourier transformation for a provided input signal and a reference signal. At the time of Fourier transformation for the reference signal, a frame step is defined based on a sampling period deviation. A phase control part adjusts the phase of the narrowband reference signal based on a time difference of the frame center position which is obtained based on the sampling period deviation. A filter processing part obtains a filter output signal by filtering the phase adjusted narrowband reference signal. A subtraction part performs echo suppression by subtracting the filter output signal from the narrowband input signal. The present technique is applicable to an acoustic echo canceller.

Abstract: 本技術は、より簡単に各再生機器において適切なコンテンツを再生することができるようにする符号化装置および方法、再生装置および方法、並びにプログラムに関する。 コンテンツデータ復号部は符号化メタデータを復号し、その結果得られたメタデータに含まれている、ズームするエリアを指定するズームエリア情報を出力する。ズームエリア選択部は、ズームエリア情報のなかから1または複数のズームエリア情報を選択する。映像切出部は、映像データに基づく映像における、選択されたズームエリア情報により示されるズームエリアを切り出して、その結果得られたズーム映像データを出力する。音声変換部は、音声データに対して、選択されたズームエリア情報に応じた音声変換処理を施し、その結果得られたズーム音声データを出力する。本技術は再生装置に適用することができる。
