Solubility of H2S in Ionic Liquids [bmim][PF6], [bmim][BF4], and [bmim][Tf2N]

TL;DR: In this article, the solubility of hydrogen sulfide in three ionic liquids, 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium hexafluorophosphate ([bmim][PF 6 ]), 1- butyl- 3methyloride tetrafluoroborate (BF 4 ]), and 1butyl 3-methylide bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide (Tf 2 N), at temperatures ranging from (303.15 to 343.15) K and pressures up to 1
Journal ArticleDOI

Solubility of CO2, H2S, and their mixture in the ionic liquid 1-octyl-3-methylimidazolium bis(trifluoromethyl)sulfonylimide.

TL;DR: Gaseous solubilities of carbon dioxide (1), hydrogen sulfide (2), and their binary mixture (x2 ≈ 0.2, 0.5, and 0.8) have been measured in the ionic liquid 1-octyl-3methylimidazolium bis(trifluoromethy... as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

Solubility and Diffusion of H2S and CO2 in the Ionic Liquid 1-(2-Hydroxyethyl)-3-methylimidazolium Tetrafluoroborate

TL;DR: In this paper, the solubility and diffusion coefficients of hydrogen sulfide and carbon dioxide gases in the ionic liquid (IL) 1-(2-hydroxyethyl)-3-methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate ([hemim][BF4]), at temperatures ranging from (303.15 to 353.15) K and pressures up to 1.1 MPa, were determined.
Journal Article

Solubility of CO2, H2S, and Their Mixture in the Ionic Liquid 1-Octyl-3-methylimidazolium Bis(trifluoromethyl)sulfonylimide B

TL;DR: It was found, by comparison of the experimental data of this study with those of previous reports, that the solubility of H(2)S in [C(n)mim][Tf( 2)N] ILs increases as the number of carbon atoms in the alkyl substituent of methylimidazolium cation, n, increases.
Journal ArticleDOI

Solubility and diffusion of CO2 and H2S in the ionic liquid 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium ethylsulfate

TL;DR: In this article, the solubility and diffusion coefficient were determined for carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulfide gases in the ionic liquid 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium ethylsulfate ([emim][EtSO4]) at temperatures ranging from (303.15 to 353.15) K and pressures up to 1.6 MPa.
