The Tetracyclic Erythrina Alkaloids

TL;DR: A listing of more than 90 tetracyclic erythrina-type alkaloids, originating mainly from Erythrina and Cocculus plant species, is supplied, together with appropriate spectral data.
Journal ArticleDOI

Prenylated flavonoids of Erythrina lysistemon grown in Egypt.

TL;DR: Three prenylated flavonoid derivatives and four known flavonoids abyssinone V-4'-methylether, alpinumisoflavone, wighteone and burttinone were isolated from the stem bark of Erythrina lysistemon Hutch by spectroscopic methods.
Journal ArticleDOI

Nobilisitine a and B, two masanane-type alkaloids from Clivia nobilisfn1

TL;DR: Two masanane-type lactone alkaloids isolated from Egyptian Clivia nobilis and characterized by spectroscopic and chemical methods proved to be the 5 β -hydroxy-3a,11c- epi -masan-7-one and the 3-hydroxybutanoyl ester of clivonine, the alkaloid previously extracted from Clivia miniata and belonging to the same alkaloidal subgroup.
Journal ArticleDOI

Alkaloids and flavone acyl glycosides from Acanthus arboreus

TL;DR: In this article, a new acyl flavonoid apigenin-7-O-b-D-(6"-trans-p -coumaroyl)-3"-O-acetyl glucopyranoside was also isolated.
