TL;DR: In this article, the authors focused on the financial performance analysis of both stream of banks to measure superiority and showed that the performance of interest-free Islamic banks in business development, profitability, liquidity and solvency, commitment to economy and community, efficiency and productivity is better than the conventional banks.

Cash-rich firms and carbon emissions

TL;DR: In this article , the authors investigate whether corporate cash holdings affect carbon dioxide emissions and find that carbon emissions are lower in firms with higher corporate cash holding. But, the effect of cash holdings on carbon emissions is more pronounced in firms having low leverage and less financial constraints.
