AES Based Text Encryption Using 12 Rounds with Dynamic Key Selection

We propose a secure and efficient file protecting system (SEFPS) that uses currently excellent SHA3 and parallel AES.We prove the security of SEFPS in terms of confidentiality and integrity.We design and implement the three variants of SEFPS adopting GPU parallelism or/and CPU parallelism.We evaluate the SEFPS' performance on two representative platforms. There are many private or confidential files stored in computers or transferred on the Internet. People worry and even fear their security problems, such as stealing, breaking, forging, and so on, and urgently need a both secure and highly efficient (for better experience) file protecting system. Thus, we propose and implement a secure and efficient file protecting system (SEFPS) for this demand. SEFPS based on advanced SHA3 (Secure Hash Algorithm 3) and parallel AES (Advance Encryption Standard) can provide the protection of both confidentiality and integrity, and produce high performance by GPU (Graphics Processing Unit) parallelism or/and CPU (Central Processing Unit) parallelism. Correspondingly, SEFPS has three variants for GPU parallelism, CPU parallelism, and both of them. The first variant includes CPU Parallel Protecting (CPP) and CPU Parallel Unprotecting (CPUP). The second variant includes GPU Parallel Protecting (GPP) and GPU Parallel Unprotecting (GPUP). The third variant includes Hybrid Parallel Protecting (HPP) and Hybrid Parallel Unprotecting (HPUP). We design and implement them, and evaluate their performance on two representative platforms by some experiments. HPP and HPUP outperform GPP and GPUP, respectively, and outperform CPP and CPUP more. For those computers not equipped with Nvidia GPUs, CPP and CPUP can be employed, because they still outperform CSP and CSUP, respectively, where CSP and CSUP denote the serial implementation of SEFPS for protecting and for unprotecting, respectively. Moreover, we also prove the security of SEFPS in terms of integrity and confidentiality. Thus, SEFPS is a secure and efficient file protecting system, and can be used in computers no matter whether equipped with Nvidia GPUs or not.

A secure and efficient file protecting system based on SHA3 and parallel AES

As more increase in usage of communications and developing them more user friendly. While developing those communications, we need to take care of security and safety of user’s data. Many researchers have developed many complex algorithms to maintain security in user’s application. Among those one of the best algorithms are cryptography based, in which user will be safe side mostly from the attackers.  We already had some AES algorithm which uses very complex cryptographic algorithm to increase the performance and more usage of lookup tables. So the cache timing attackers will correlates the details to encrypt the data under known key with the unknown key. So, for this we provide an improvised solution. This paper deals with an extension of public-key encryption and decryption support including a private key. The private key is generated with the combination of AES and ECC. In general AES, key length is 128 bits with 10 times of iterations. But with this, users won’t get efficient security for their operations, so to increase the security level we are implementing 196-bit based encryption with 12 times round-key generation iterations. By this enhancement, we can assure to users to high level security and can keep users data in confidential way.

Hybrid Cryptography for Random-key Generation based on ECC Algorithm

Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) and Elliptic Curve Cryptosystems (ECC) are the two most commonly used symmetric and asymmetric encryption algorithms. The paper analyzes both the AES algorithm and the ECC algorithm. Combining with the characteristics of the AES and ECC, a mixed email encryption system is designed, which can solve the problem such as password system speed and security, which can't efficiently realize the information, data encryption, signature and identity verification. And the hybrid encryption is applied into the email system to enhance the network security of information transmission.
