An array substrate is disclosed herein, which includes a display area and a surrounding area. The surrounding area encircles the display area, and includes a first zone and a second zone. The first zone and the second zone are configured to have a height difference to form a substantially uneven upper surface of the array substrate to thereby allow a sealant to be securely attached onto the array substrate. The array substrate further includes a substrate, a first signal line, and a second signal line. The first signal line is disposed over the substrate. The second signal line is disposed over, insulated from, and staggered at a staggering region with, the first signal line. It is configures such that the staggering region is in the first zone. A display panel and a display apparatus containing the array substrate is further disclosed.

By arrangement of a second signal bus line, a first end of a first signal line in a first display area in the display panel is electrically connected with the first signal bus line, and the second end of the first signal line is electrically connected with a first conducting wire in the second signal bus line, so that uniformity of a signal input by the first signal line in the first display area can be ensured. Therefore, the structure is not only the precondition of ensuring signal uniformity of the first display area, but is also the precondition of ensuring signal uniformity of a display area of the entire display panel.

A large-panel liquid crystal display uses wireless data transmission to provide display data to the pixels arranged in a two-dimensional array of pixel rows and pixel columns in the display area. Pixels are also arranged into pixel groups with each group having a plurality of pixel blocks. Antennas arranged in a two-dimensional array are used to receive wireless signals indicative of the display data from a wireless signal source and to provide display data to the pixels. Each antenna is connected to a different data line in a pixel group for providing display data to the pixel group. Antennas are embedded in the electronic layers on upper surface of the lower substrate and the wireless signal source is embedded in the backlight unit of the display. With wireless data transmission, data lines can be confined within the display area and not connected to conventional semiconductor data drivers.
