Journal ArticleDOI
Activation mechanism of Fe (III) ions in cassiterite flotation with benzohydroxamic acid collector
Mengjie Tian,Runqing Liu,Zhiyong Gao,Pan Chen,Haisheng Han,Li Wang,Chenyang Zhang,Wei Sun,Yuehua Hu +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, the effect of Fe3+ ions as an activator on the flotation performance of cassiterite using benzohydroxamic acid (BHA) as the collector was investigated by the micro-flotation tests.
Journal ArticleDOI
Activation role of lead ions in benzohydroxamic acid flotation of oxide minerals: New perspective and new practice.
TL;DR: A new hypothetic activation model was proposed to explain the improved performance of soluble lead-BHA complex and the proposed model was verified by the flotation experiment and adsorption test results and can help enrich the activation theory of metal ions in anionic collector flotation of minerals.
Journal ArticleDOI
Improved flotation separation of cassiterite from calcite using a mixture of lead (II) ion/benzohydroxamic acid as collector and carboxymethyl cellulose as depressant
TL;DR: In this paper, a mixture of lead nitrate (LN) and benzohydroxamic acid (BHA) was used as collector and carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) as depressant to separate cassiterite from calcite.
Journal ArticleDOI
Novel insights into adsorption mechanism of benzohydroxamic acid on lead (II)-activated cassiterite surface: An integrated experimental and computational study
Mengjie Tian,Chenyang Zhang,Haisheng Han,Runqing Liu,Zhiyong Gao,Pan Chen,Jianyong He,Yuehua Hu,Wei Sun,Dandan Yuan +9 more
TL;DR: Using microflotation experiments, the effect of Pb2+ ions on flotation performance of cassiterite (SnO2) by using benzohydroxamic acid (BHA) as collector was investigated in this article.
Journal ArticleDOI
Study on the mechanism and application of a novel collector-complexes in cassiterite flotation
TL;DR: In this article, it is shown through flotation that BHA exhibits weak collecting capacity to cassiterite even in the case of using lead nitrate as the activator, but the superior floatation performances of lead(II)−BHA complexes is observed.
