The embodiment of the invention provides a positioning method, and specifically discloses a pedestrian volume positioning method and a pedestrian volume positioning system in a shopping mall. The positioning method specifically comprises the following steps: acquiring the positions of air supply equipment distributed in various areas of the shopping mall; connecting the positions of the air supplyequipment in the same floor of the shopping mall in sequence, and constructing a map of each floor of the shopping mall; acquiring monitoring images of each area in the shopping mall in real time; making the pedestrian volume in each monitoring image according to the acquired each monitoring image; and mapping marks of each monitoring image in the same floor of the shopping mall to the map of thecorresponding floor, and acquiring the distribution positions of the pedestrian volume in each floor of the shopping mall. Compared with the prior art, the staff can intuitively see the distributionsituation of the pedestrian volume in each floor of the shopping mall according to the maps of various floors built by main control equipment and the marks mapped on the maps, so that the staff can conveniently control the pedestrian volume.

This paper presents an application that will be used in shopping malls. It is an indoor positioning system (IPS) based mobile application. The main idea is providing a win win situation between the customers and stores. It will be utilized in the store or in front of the store with a check in at the store. Thus, the customer will easily reach many offers, product explanations of the considered store. Also, with visiting the stores the user will collect some reward points that will be used in their next shopping. In the project, main idea is to take advantage of shopping mall visiting of people and usage of smart phones together. The aim is to turn a profit with the mobile application. Also, the project may easily be adapted and work together with a new developing and remarkable transportation systems' solution Electric Vehicles (EVs).
