Abstract: A sheathed element glow plug includes an integrated combustion chamber pressure sensor for a self-igniting internal combustion engine for measuring combustion chamber pressures, in particular for combustion chamber signal-based engine control. The sheathed element glow plug has a heating element and a glow plug housing, as well as a glow plug axis. The glow plug housing has a receptacle area for receiving the heating element, a housing body, and at least one flexibility area situated between the housing body and the receptacle area. At least one force measuring element is installed in the glow plug housing.

Abstract: Zum Messen von Brennraumdrucken, insbesondere fur eine brennraumdrucksignalbasierte Motorsteuerung, wird eine Gluhstiftkerze (110) fur eine selbstzundende Verbrennungskraftmaschine vorgeschlagen, welche einen integrierten Brennraumdrucksensor aufweist. Die Gluhstiftkerze (110) weist einen Heizkorper (112) und ein Kerzengehause (114) sowie eine Kerzenachse (124) auf. Das Kerzengehause (114) weist einen Aufnahmebereich (116) zur Aufnahme des Heizkorpers (112), einen Gehausekorper (120) und mindestens einen zwischen dem Gehausekorper (120) und dem Aufnahmebereich (116) angeordneten Flexibilitatsbereich (118) auf. In das Kerzengehause (114) ist mindestens ein Kraftmesselement (136) aufgenommen.

Abstract: A pencil type glow plug (110) for a self-igniting internal combustion engine and having an integrated combustion chamber pressure sensor is proposed for measuring pressures in the combustion chamber, in particular for an engine control system based on combustion chamber pressure signals. The pencil type glow plug (110) comprises a heating element (112) and a glow plug housing (114) as well as a glow plug axis (124). The glow plug housing (114) includes a zone (116) for receiving the heating element (112), a housing body (120) and at least one flexibility zone (118) arranged between the housing body (120) and the receiving zone (116). At least one force-measuring element (136) is arranged in the glow plug housing (114).
