TL;DR: In this paper , the authors examined the impact of intraoperative acupuncture on anesthesia-related parameters in patients undergoing gynecological oncology surgery and found that intra-operative acupuncture was associated with elevated arterial pressure, heart rate, and bispectral index (BIS).
