Nutrition-Related Outcomes for Autologous Stem Cell Transplantation Patients.
Heather Lazarow,Michele Nicolo,Charlene Compher,Colleen Kucharczuk,Edward A. Stadtmauer,Daniel J. Landsburg +5 more
TL;DR: Outcomes for deconditioning, time to neutrophil engraftment, and 30-day readmission did not differ significantly on the basis of nutrition risk or weight loss, and further research is needed to determine whether early nutrition intervention would improve these outcomes.
Journal ArticleDOI
Interstitial glucose and subsequent affective and physical feeling states: A pilot study combining continuous glucose monitoring and ecological momentary assessment in adolescents.
Jennifer Zink,Michele Nicolo,Kellie R. Imm,Shayan Ebrahimian,Qihan Yu,Kyuwan Lee,Kaylie Zapanta,Jimi Huh,Genevieve F. Dunton,Michael I. Goran,Kathleen A. Page,Christina M. Dieli-Conwright,Britni R. Belcher +12 more
TL;DR: Though effect sizes were small, within-person variations in interstitial glucose may relate to subsequent affective and physical feeling states among healthy youth.
Journal ArticleDOI
Serum 25OHD concentration as a predictor of haemoglobin A1c among adults living in the USA: NHANES 2003 to 2010.
TL;DR: Lower serum 25OHD concentrations are associated with poor glycaemic control (HbA1c ≥ 6.5%).
Journal ArticleDOI
Sedentary behavior time as a predictor of hemoglobin A1c among adults, 40 to 59 years of age, living in the United States: National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey 2003 to 2004 and 2013 to 2014.
Michele Nicolo,Patricia A. Shewokis,Joseph I. Boullata,Deeptha Sukumar,Sinclair A Smith,Charlene Compher,Stella L. Volpe +6 more
TL;DR: Sedentary behavior time (SBT) was a predictor of HbA1c ≥ 6.5% among adults, 40 to 59 years of age, in NHANES 2003 to 2004, but was not a predictor in 2013 to 2014.
Journal ArticleDOI
Interactions among Reward Sensitivity and Fast-Food Access on Healthy Eating Index Scores in Adolescents: A Cross-Sectional Study.
TL;DR: In this paper, a study aimed to examine the moderating role of the availability of fast food in the environment on the relationship between reward sensitivity and diet quality in adolescents and found that reward sensitivity to potential food cues in residential neighborhood food environments, it is possible to understand which adolescents are more sensitive to environmental food cues and implement interventions to buffer these influences.
