A preferred contact group centric interface for a communication device can be used to facilitate communications by a user. The user interface can be arranged to activate from a user's “home page” on the display, from an idle screen that is accessed after a timeout period expires, or any other appropriate mechanism that activates the preferred contact group centric experience. A user selects the preferred contact group from among an array of the user's contacts. Once the contact group is configured, a minimal number of navigation/selection features is necessary to activate any number of communication modes available to the contacts. The contact group is configured such that simple and quick navigation between the contact members is achieved. The contact group can be presented in 2D and 3D arrangements, in any number of list or geometric configurations. A pricing plan can optionally be tied to each member of the contact group.

PURPOSE:To provide the title analyzer capable of carrying out analysis and washing by easy operation without reducing the number of items capable of simultaneous analysis, and capable of carrying out very accurate analysis by restraining the carrying over of a sample and reagent to the next sample, in the title analyzer for analyzing multiple items. CONSTITUTION:A sample is received in a sample vessel 7 and disposed in a sample disk 4. A reagent and detergent are incorporated in one corresponding to each item, and this is constituted as a reagent vessel unit 8 and disposed in a reagent disk 5. The sample and reagent are in order dispensed into a reaction vessel 2 of a reaction disk 1 by a probe 11 of a dispensing mechanism 10. The probe 11 after dispensing the sample or reagent sucks the detergent received in the unit 8 to discharge into a wash chamber 15, and thereby is effectively washed so that the carrying over to the next sample is restrained to each item.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a urine sediment inspection system by which a urine inspection operation is performed with good efficiency by comparing data on a primary screening inspection with a judgment reference, automatically judging whether a urine sediment is to be measured or not, and controlling the operation of a sample container on the basis of its judgment. SOLUTION: A urine-sediment analyzer 203 receives measured data from a semidetermination analyzer 202 and attribute information from a host computer 207. A sample container 205 at the sediment analyzer 203 is conveyed to the side of a feed mechanism, a rack ID is read out normally, an inspection request is inquired before a measurement, the data which is received in advance is compared with a judgment reference, and whether a second screening inspection is required or not is decided. A sample to which a urine-sediment inspection by the secondary screening inspection is executed is transferred to the position of a staining and sampling mechanism by a sample-container feed mechanism at the sediment analyzer 203, it is conveyed to a conveyance line 201 after a sampling operation has been finished, and it is then transferred to the side of a next qualitative analyzer 204. A sample to which the urine-sediment inspection is not executed skips the position of the stirring and sampling mechanism. Thereby, a treatment speed is not lowered.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dispensing device equipped with a determination means for easily determining abnormality in dispensing. SOLUTION: A pressure sensor 11 is connected to a dispensing flow path system including a sample probe 1 and a dispensing syringe 3 to measure a pressure fluctuation waveform in sample dispensation. An output of the sensor 11 is sent, via an amplifier 13 and an A/D converter 14, to an integration operation circuit 15. There, with respect to data serving as references and data to be compared therewith, an integration process is executed on data obtained by performing a comparison on a given interval after the completion of a solution sucking motion for an integral interval. Output of the circuit 15 is sent to a determination circuit 16. With respect to an integration operation result, the determination circuit 16 previously stores therein a threshold range.
