A power transmission system having a positive displacement pump which is driven by a prime mover, and an output member which is driven by a fluid discharged from the positive displacement pump, characterized by comprising a rotational direction switching mechanism for switching a rotational direction of the output member between forward direction and backward direction. The rotational direction switching mechanism comprises a mechanism for switching a direction of a torque applied to the output member through the fluid between forward direction and backward direction.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt attachment tool capable of easily and securely attaching a belt to a double hook pulley without damaging the belt and without generating noise. SOLUTION: The inside of the belt 2 is hooked on an introduction part 5 protruding at a front side and guided to a back side pulley groove 4b along a traverse guide 6 in an arc shape covering the outer circumference side of the front side pulley 3a. The inserted belt 2 is prevented from lifting by a pressing piece 7 provided above the backside pulley groove 4b. Thus, the belt 2 is easily and securely attached to the back side pulley 3b. Since the outer circumference side of the front side pulley 3a is covered by the traverse guide 6, abrasion with a front side pulley groove 4a and a front side flange 10a at this side is eliminated, and damage to the belt 2 and the generation of noise are prevented. When the belt 2 is inserted in the backside pulley groove 4b, an attaching part 8 prevents the belt attachment tool 1 from coming off from the double purchase pulley 3 by a reaction force of the belt 2. Belt attachment tool

A belt mounting jig with which a user can easily mount a belt on pulleys while mounting the belt mounting jig on a pulley on the small-diameter side, or on the low-load side. The belt mounting jig (1) has a holding surface (7) for holding a part of a belt (4) at a position radially outward from a pulley flange (6), and also has a guide surface (8) for guiding the belt (4) to the holding surface (7). The guide surface (8) is formed as a curve surface continuing to the holding surface (7) and protruding forward in a rotation direction. The belt mounting jig (1) is mounted on a pulley (2) on the small-diameter side, or on the low-load side. The belt (4) is passed over the belt mounting jig (1) and the pulleys (2, 3), and then a pulley (3) on the large-diameter side, or on the high-load side, is rotated. The pulley (2) is rotated by tensile force of the belt (4) guided in the rotation direction by the guide surface (8). A portion of the belt (4), which portion is held by the holding surface (7), slides in the pulley axis direction and fits into a pulley groove (5).

Belt mounting jig

The combination of: a) first and second spaced pulleys; b) an endless belt; and c) a belt installation jig having a body with: a pulley pressing part; a belt holding part; and a belt pressing part. The belt installation jig and belt cooperate so that with the belt operatively wrapped against the second pulley and partially operatively wrapped against the first pulley, turning of the first pulley causes the belt to progressively wrap around the first pulley to a fully operatively wrapped state, whereupon further turning of the first pulley situates the belt installation jig for separation from the belt and pulleys.

Belt installation jig and a belt installation method using same

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt mounting tool for allowing a belt to be easily mounted on a pulley while being mounted on a pulley at the small diameter side or the low load side even when the elongation percentage of the belt is high. SOLUTION: The belt mounting tool 1 is mounted on the pulley 2 at the small diameter side. The belt 4 is wound on the pulley 3 at the large diameter side, and the belt 4 is applied onto an introduction part 7 of the belt mounting tool 1. The belt 4 is fitted into a pulley groove 5 on the rear side of the introduction part 7 in a pulley rotating direction. The belt 4 passes through the axial front side of the pulley on the front side of the introduction part 7 in the pulley rotating direction. The pulley 3 at the large diameter side is rotated to preliminarily rotate the pulley 2. A tool 16 is engaged with a rotation assisting part 11 of the belt mounting tool 1 to assist the preliminary rotation of the pulley 2. The preliminary rotation prevents the slide of the belt 4 relative to the pulley groove 5 and the introduction part 7. The pulley 3 is further rotated to actually rotate the pulley 2. The range of the pulley groove 5 to which the belt 4 on the rear side of the introduction part 7 is fitted is gradually widened when mounting the belt 4. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT

Belt attachment jig

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool serving both for attaching and removing a belt that can attach a belt to a pulley and remove it from the pulley. SOLUTION: The tool includes a clamped part 5, which is clamped between the pulley 2 and the belt 3, and a detachment stopper 6, which restrains the belt 3 from being detached in the width direction. The clamped part surface 9 is used as an inclined plane. When the belt 3 is attached, the belt 3 is fitted into a pulley groove 4 at the rear of the detachment stopper 6 rather than the front end and the clamped part 5 is clamped. The belt 3 is mounted on the detachment stopper 6 and passed outside in the axial direction of the pulley 2. The pulley 2 is rotated and the range fitted to the pulley groove 4 is expanded gradually to mount the belt 3. When removing the belt 3 from the pulley 2, the pulley 2 is rotated and the belt 3 is wound so as to clamp the clamped part 5 between the belt and the pulley 2. The belt 3 is made to slide along the inclination of the clamped part surface 9 in the opposite direction to the detachment stopper 6 to remove the belt from the pulley 2. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt installing tool capable of installing a belt while rotating a pulley even if the belt cannot be wrapped around in a sufficient range of the pulley. SOLUTION: The belt installing tool 1 is formed with a holding surface 7 for holding a part of the belt 4 to the outside in the radial direction of a pulley flange 6. The holding surface 7 has an antislipping member 20 for restraining slippage in the pulley rotating direction of the belt 4. The belt installing tool 1 is installed in the pulley 2 at the small diameter side and the low load side. The belt 4 is wrapped around the belt installing tool 1 and the pulleys 2 and 3, and the pulley 3 at the large diameter side and the high load side is rotated. The pulley 2 rotates via the belt 4 and the belt installing tool 1. Out of the belt 4, a part held by the holding surface 7 is fitted to a pulley groove 5 by sliding in the pulley axis direction.
