The peripheral regions are provided at two opposite ends of the display panel and have a first curvature; the central region is provided between the two opposite ends of the display panel and has a second curvature; and the second curvature of the central region is smaller than the first curvature of the peripheral regions.

Color photovoltaic (PV) devices formed using interferometric stacks tuned to reflect color covering the front side or back side of a PV cell, device, panel, or array are disclosed. Interferometric stacks covering PV devices include interferometric modulators (IMODs), or dichroic pair stacks. Such devices can be configured to reflect enough light of select wavelengths so as to impart a color, while transmitting enough light to the PV active material so as to generate useful electricity.

The turning layer can comprise an inorganic material characterized by a second refractive index that is substantially the same as the first refractive index.

The movable reflective element includes a flexible dielectric layer and a second reflective layer mechanically coupled to the flexible dielectric layer. The optical device can also include a mechanism for controlling the portion of the reflector which is shadowed by the absorptive fluid.
