TL;DR: A new TSV repair scheme is proposed that replaces defective TSVs with redundant TSVs by utilizing the architecture of a cube, which can replace any face with any of the other faces, so any faulted TSVs can be replaced with redundancy TSVs.
Abstract: Three-dimensional integrated circuits (3-D ICs), which feature many benefits, such as high bandwidth and a high degree of integration, have recently received considerable attention from the semiconductor industry. However, these chips feature through-silicon vias (TSVs), which vertically connect multiple dies, and these TSVs may fail, resulting in a decreased yield. Unfortunately, previously proposed methods to repair TSVs cannot handle certain failure patterns. For example, existing techniques cannot repair clustered TSV faults, which commonly occur in practice. Furthermore, the number of signal TSVs typically determines the number of redundant TSVs, which may result in wasteful and redundant TSVs. In this paper, a new TSV repair scheme is proposed that replaces defective TSVs with redundant TSVs by utilizing the architecture of a cube, which can replace any face with any of the other faces. Both signal TSVs and redundant TSVs are placed in the face of cube, so any faulted TSVs can be replaced with redundant TSVs. The experimental results indicate that the new method guarantees 100% coverage with any number of signal TSVs and redundant TSVs.

TL;DR: In this article, a method for allocating resources in a wireless local area network (WLAN) system, and an apparatus thereof are disclosed, by enabling the use of a variable frequency within a temporally grouped window in a WLAN system, transmission speed and performance can be improved without additional burden.
Abstract: A method for allocating resources in a wireless local area network (WLAN) system, and an apparatus thereof are disclosed. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a method for allocating resources may comprise the steps of: determining a restricted access bandwidth (RAB) section based on at least one bandwidth or one partial bandwidth among a plurality of bandwidths; and setting a restricted access window (RAW) in a time domain based on the RAB section. According to an embodiment of the present invention, by enabling the use of a variable frequency within a temporally grouped window in a WLAN system, transmission speed and performance can be improved without additional burden.

TL;DR: In this paper, a method for transceiving data in a MIMO system is presented. But the method is not suitable for the transmission of large numbers of packets at the same time.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for transceiving data. A method in which a transmitting terminal transmits data to a receiving terminal in a MIMO system according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises the following steps: generating a data field containing the data; generating a signal field containing information on the data field; generating a data frame containing the data field and the signal field; and transmitting the data frame to the receiving terminal. According to the present invention, an end of the frame being transmitted is accurately notified to the receiving terminal in a communication system in which the frame is transmitted using MIMO, thereby decoding the frame in a more efficient manner at the receiving terminal.

TL;DR: In this article, a method for changing an operating mode in a wireless LAN system is described, which consists of: transmitting a request frame containing listen interval changing information to an access point, receiving a response frame containing association identification (AID) information allocated to an STA and listen interval information from the AP, from the STA, and performing an operation based on the AID information contained in the response frame.
Abstract: Disclosed are a method for changing an operating mode in a wireless LAN system, and a wireless LAN system. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the method for changing an operating mode in a wireless LAN system comprises the steps of: transmitting a request frame containing listen interval changing information to an access point; receiving a response frame containing association identification (AID) information allocated to an STA and listen interval information allocated to the STA, from the AP; and performing an operation based on the AID information contained in the response frame. In addition, when the change of the listen interval is performed in the STA, the AID of the STA is reallocated by the AP, and the reallocated AID contained in the response frame is used as a new AID of the STA in the STA. The present invention can efficiently operate a basic service set (BSS) of wide area wireless LAN.
