A method for processing data flows of a plurality of passive optical network (PON) operating modes, the method is performed by an optical network unit (ONU). The method comprises processing upstream data flows of said plurality of PON operating modes; and processing downstream data flows of the plurality of PON operating modes. The plurality of PON operating modes include at least a Gigabit PON (GPON) mode, a broadband PON (BPON) mode, and an Ethernet PON (EPON).

Enhanced passive optical network (PON) processor

A portable heater (A) adapted for use in a recreational enclosure or temporary work enclosure includes a housing (10) having an air inlet (40) on the lower front face. A gas supply (50) is at least partially enclosed by the housing which provides propane to the mouth (64) of a burner venturi (60) located within the housing. Air is drawn through the air inlet and also enters the mouth of the burner venturi. The air and gas are mixed thoroughly as they travel upwardly through the burner venturi. A chimney effect increases fresh air flow velocity into the burner venturi and allows the heater to operate at a reduced fuel gas pressure. Upon exiting the burner venturi, the air/gas mixture is to a plenum (72) and radiant surface (70) where combustion takes place.

Gas fired portable unvented infrared heater

In certain embodiments, a control valve assembly for gas heaters and gas fireplace devices includes a housing. The housing can define an inlet for accepting fuel from a fuel source, a first outlet for delivering fuel to an oxygen depletion sensor, and a second outlet for delivering fuel to a burner. The assembly can include a valve body configured to selectively provide fluid communication between the inlet and one or more of the first outlet and the second outlet, and can include an actuator configured to move the valve body relative to the housing. The actuator can be configured to transition between a resting state and a displaced state. The assembly can include an igniter that includes a sensor, the igniter electrically coupled with an electrode and configured to repeatedly activate the electrode when the sensor senses that the actuator is in the displaced state. The assembly can include a shutoff valve electrically coupled with the oxygen depletion sensor and configured to operate in response to an electrical quantity communicated by the oxygen depletion sensor.

Control valves for heaters and fireplace devices

In certain embodiments, a valve assembly can comprise a housing, a valve body and a nozzle. The housing can define a first inlet and a second inlet. The valve body can be positioned within the housing and configured to rotate between a first position for a first fuel type and a second position for a second fuel type different from the first. A control knob is operatively coupled to the valve body and to an air shutter such that rotation of the control knob controls the state of the valve body and the position of the air shutter.

Valve assemblies for heating devices

In certain embodiments, an apparatus includes a burner. The apparatus can also include an intake valve that includes an input for receiving fuel from either a first fuel source at a first pressure or a second fuel source at a second pressure. The intake valve can include a first output for directing fuel received from the first fuel source and a second output for directing fuel received from the second fuel source. The intake valve can include an actuator configured to permit fluid communication between the input and the first output or between the input and the second output. The apparatus can include a pressure regulator that can include a first inlet for receiving fuel from the first output of the intake valve and a second inlet for receiving fuel from the second output of the intake valve. The regulator can also include an outlet for directing fuel from the pressure regulator toward the burner.

Combustion safety device for a gas heater

In an in-wall heater, in which control equipment 11, 12 is disposed in a side space 10 on one lateral side of a combustion housing 2 within an outer case 1 and an exhaust duct 15 is disposed in a side space 13 on the other lateral side of the combustion housing 2, the cooling performance of each of the side spaces is increased and noise due to a sucked-in sound of room air can be reduced. In a side plate portion of the outer case 1 on both lateral sides, an air intake opening 7, which is vertically long, is provided in a position in a front side portion exposed to a front of a room wall. Each side space 10, 13 within the outer case 1 is formed in a ventilation flue on the suction side where the room air from each of the air intake openings 7 is conducted into the warm air fan 9.

In-wall heater

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow maintenance of first and second burners by removing a support plate without having to remove flame detecting elements that face the tops of the first and second burners. SOLUTION: In this fireplace type heater, the first burner and a pair of right and left second burners located therebehind are disposed beneath the support plate on which dummy firewood in a combustion casing 2 is placed, with the upper ends of the first and second burners fitted into respective burner openings bored through the support plate. Further, an igniting member is disposed between the first and second burners in such a manner as to protrude onto the support plate through a see-through hole bored in the support plate. The support plate 12 is divided into a front plate 121 and a rear plate 122 by a first dividing line L1 extending from the horizontal outer end of each second burner opening 12b behind the flame detecting element 19 for the second burner to the horizontal outer edge of the support plate 12, and a second dividing line L2 extending from the rear edge of the first burner opening 12a on each horizontal side of the location of the igniting member to the front edge of each second burner opening 12b. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure a voltage value, a resistance value, or the like of each part with high work efficiency without holding an electronic control unit in the hand during maintenance in a wall embedded combustor with the electronic control unit disposed in a side space between an outer case and a combustion case in the outer case. SOLUTION: A temporary support means 16 composed of a laterally bent part 16a and an engaging hole 16b opened in the bent part 16a are integrally formed at the front end of a mounting bracket 15 for the electronic control unit 13 provided in the side space in the outer case 1. A hook part protrusively provided at a rear side part of the electronic control unit 13 is engaged with the engaging hole 16b to temporarily support the electronic control unit 13 in an exposed state in front of the outer case 1.
