By switching the first refrigerant-path switching device (11), this air-conditioning device enters a defrost mode wherein the refrigerant discharged from the compressor (10) is supplied to the heat-source-side heat exchanger (12). In said defrost mode, some of the refrigerant flowing from the heat-source-side heat exchanger (12) is supplied to the inter-heat-medium heat exchanger (15) without going through the flow-restriction device (16), and the rest is returned to the outdoor unit (1) without going through either the flow-restriction device (16) or the inter-heat-medium heat exchanger (15).

The air conditioner indoor unit comprises a plurality of cross-flow fans each corresponding to an air outlet. The control method comprises the steps that indoor environment temperature distribution is obtained at intervals of the preset time; then the indoor environment temperature distribution and preset environment temperature distribution are compared, and a target air supply area is obtained; and an air guide device is adjusted to enable all the cross-flow fans to supply air towards the target air supply area. According to the control method, the air supply area with the largest difference between the indoor actual temperature and a preset temperature can be determined, the air guide device is adjusted to enable the cross-flow fans to supply the air towards the air supply area with the largest temperature difference, and the temperature of the area is decreased or increased, so that the air supply area reaches the preset temperature rapidly. According to the control method, the temperatures of indoor areas can be more balanced, the situations that the indoor temperatures are nonuniform, and the local areas are too cold or too hot are avoided, and the user experience is improved.

An indoor unit (100) includes a casing (1) having a suction port (2) formed on an upper portion and a blow-out port (3) on a lower side of a front surface portion, an axial-flow or mixed-flow fan (20) provided on the downstream side of the suction port (2) in the casing (1), and a heat exchanger (50) provided in the casing (1) at a position on the downstream side of the fan (20) and on the upstream side of the blow-out port (3). The heat exchanger is configured in such a manner that the air-flow resistance of an area facing the outer peripheral side of the fan (20) is larger than the air-flow resistance of an area facing a center portion of the fan (20).
