The Effect of Regulatory Policy on Efficiency under Prudential Framework among Listed Iranian Banks

TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of regulatory policy on efficiency under prudential framework among banks listed in the Iranian Securities and Exchange Organization over the period 2003 to 2015 was examined, and the authors found that regulatory policy indicator indexing reserve requirement on investment deposits has had a positive relationship with the efficiency ratio, Sum of Assets Circulation Ratio (SACR), although it is not meaningful.
