Coronavirus (COVID-19) - An epidemic or pandemic for financial markets.

TL;DR: Investigation of financial markets globally in terms of their decline and volatility as Coronavirus epicentre moved from China to Europe and then to the US suggests that the earlier epicentres China has stabilised while the global markets have gone into a freefall especially in the later phase of the spread.
Journal ArticleDOI

The role of asymptomatic class, quarantine and isolation in the transmission of COVID-19.

TL;DR: Using sensitivity analysis, it is established that the basic reproduction number for Corona Virus Disease is most sensitive to the rate of quarantine and isolation and that a high level of quarantine needs to be maintained as well as isolation to control the disease.
Journal ArticleDOI

Recent developments in modeling and simulation of entropy generation for dissipative cross material with quartic autocatalysis

TL;DR: In this article, the authors analyzed entropy generation for cross fluid in the presence of Lorentz's forces and found that entropy generation rate has diminishing trend for diffusive variable. And they found assisting behavior of radiation parameter for Bejan number.
Journal ArticleDOI

Intricacies of competition, stability, and diversification: Evidence from dual banking economies

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the nexus of competition and stability by introducing the interaction of diversification and competition and found that competition does not impact bank stability and that diversification is insignificant in the competition-stability nexus.
Journal ArticleDOI

Significance of static–moving wedge for unsteady Falkner–Skan forced convective flow of MHD cross fluid

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors analyzed the characteristics of static moving wedge for unsteady 2D Falkner-Skan flow of cross fluid in the presence of nonlinear thermal radiation.
