TL;DR: Convalescent plasma could be superior to standard of care in avoiding progression to mechanical ventilation or death in hospitalized patients with COVID-19, but the strong dependence of results on a limited number of events in the control group prevents drawing firm conclusions about CP efficacy.

TL;DR: Treatment outcomes are better when surgery or PAIR is combined with benzimidazole drugs given pre- and/or post-operation, and Albendazole chemotherapy was found to be the primary pharmacological treatment to consider in the medical management of CE.

TL;DR: The main causes of mortality in patients with hydatidosis are complications related to the rupture of CE cysts with supurative collangitis, and an expectant management can be dangerous and it must be only employed in well-selected patients.
