A laser condensing optical system of the present invention includes a laser beam source which emits a laser beam, a condensing optical system which is arranged between the laser beam source and a medium and condenses the laser beam in the medium, and a laser divergence point moving unit which can move the position of a laser divergence point of the laser beam along an optical axis of the laser beam in accordance with the refractive index of the medium in which the laser beam is desired to be condensed and the distance from a surface of the medium to a position where the beam is desired to be condensed.

The compressor room is divided by a valve mounting plate into a lower chamber A containing a compressor together with nearby placed compressor-related electrical parts and an upper chamber B containing connecting valves that connect the compressor to a coolant pipe from an indoor unit. In the outdoor unit where the connecting valves are mounted on the valve mounting plate, an opening for work is provided on the valve mounting plate so that the compressor-related electrical parts are operated through this opening from the top. A surrounding wall rising upward is disposed on an edge of the opening.

Outdoor unit of separate type air conditioner

An air conditioning system that includes desiccant compartments for holding a desiccant; a heat exchanger, a blower and a vessel. The heat exchanger can be filled with a heat transfer medium, while the blower blows ambient air by the heat exchanger such that the blown air is cooled and the heat exchanger is warmed such that thermal energy increases and is transferred from the air to the heat transfer medium causing the heat transfer medium to turn into vapor. The vapor is then diffused to one of the desiccant compartments such that the vapor is adsorbed onto the desiccant creating a mixture. Then an energy source is applied to the mixture such that the vapor and desiccant are separated. The separated vapor is transported to the vessel where it is condensed and then sent back to the heat exchanger, such that the system is able to be continuously operating.

Air-conditioning system

A laser welding method includes: projecting a laser beam onto irradiation regions on plural metallic workpieces such that a weld section is formed when the workpieces are joined by laser welding, the weld section being formed of plural nuggets, and each of the irradiation regions being formed with each of the nuggets. The nuggets are sequentially formed by sequentially projecting the laser beam onto the irradiation regions that respectively correspond to the nuggets. The laser beam is projected onto each of the irradiation regions such that an amount of input heat from the laser beam that is projected onto each of the irradiation regions to the workpiece is reduced as the nuggets are sequentially formed.

Laser welding method

An improved method for singulation of electronic substrates into dice uses a laser to first form cuts in the substrate and then chamfers the edges of the cuts by altering the laser parameters. The chamfers increase die break strength by reducing the residual damage and removes debris caused by the initial laser cut without requiring additional process steps, additional equipment or consumable supplies.

Method and apparatus for laser singulation of brittle materials

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processing method and processing apparatus of a wiring board which does not cause deterioration such as peeling of a copper foil and a solder which form a circuit pattern when divided, and performs processings efficiently, with no sticking of a carbide and no residual crack on the surface of the wiring board and a cutting plane after processing. SOLUTION: A cyclic pulsed laser beam is made to scan along a processing line, a forming process to form a processed groove which is shallower in depth as compared with a totally processed depth is repeated two times or more, by which the processed depth of the processed groove becomes gradually deeper, then processings such as piercing, grooving, and cutting of an outline are performed through processing of the totally processed depth. PURPOSE:To obtain a method for cutting with laser beam and device therefor to realize a high quality cutting without generating a rough cutting surface by eliminating the stagnation of molten matter at a lower part of the cutting surface of a work to be cut. CONSTITUTION:Cutting is executed while vibrating the irradiating position of a laser beam 1 or the irradiating diameter against the work 6 to be cut during cutting, in order to perform the cutting, a moving means 9 which relatively moves the work 6 to be cut and the laser beam 1, a beam diameter regulating means, or a changeover means is provided.

Method for cutting with laser beam and device therefor

PURPOSE:To stably perform information recording with high reading accuracy by providing a diffusion part whose magnetic characteristic is different from that of a base material on the base material, and storing information by the diffusion part. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic change layer of linear shape or plane shape, that is, the diffusion part 3 whose magnetic characteristic is different from that of the base material 1 consisting of a magnetic grid is formed on one side or both sides on the surface part or the inside of the base material 1. The diffusion part 3 generates remarkable residual stress because it receives a steep cooling function, and it is provided with a large coercive force because it includes a large carbon content, and large residual magnetization is generated by magnetizing it. Also, it is possible to decrease irregularity on the surface of the base material 1 to a negligible degree. Therefore, it is possible to record arbitrary information by selecting an interval or width, or the combination of them to project a laser beam arbitrarily. In such a way, reading can be performed even after a process such as painting, and also, it is possible to heighten reading accuracy stably without generating peeling, etc., in case of a temperature change.

Information recording method

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent sticking of carbide to a cat section or generation of cracking by repeating plural times a grooving process for forming shallow machining grooves and gradually increasing the depth up to full depth. SOLUTION: The light quantity of plume 16 emitted from a machined part is detected by a photodiode 44 during the cutting; and then, a ratio is calculated between this light quantity and that in the last grooving process stored in a storage part 40 for detected values as a rate of change by an arithmetic part 41. In a comparison part 43, the absolute value and the rate of change of the emitted light quantity are compared with a reference value of an absolute value and a change rate preliminarily set in a reference value setting part 42. If the absolute value is smaller than the reference value, or if the rate of change is larger than the reference value, a controller 24 gives a stop command to a laser beam oscillator control part 22 and a machining table control part 23, and stopping the machining.

Method and device for machining wiring board

PURPOSE:To detect a weld line without contact by comparing each low frequency component of the left side and the right side of weaving, also comparing each low-frequency component with a set value, and discriminating a shift. CONSTITUTION:A titled device is constituted of a high-frequency signal generating part 25 which is connected between both ends of a welding torch 11 and superposes a high-frequency signal of a constant peak to a welding arc, a detecting part 26 for detecting a high-frequency signal varied in accordance with a variation of the welding arc, a position detector 21 of a weaving position of the welding torch 11, a signal processing circuit 27 for fetching a low-frequency component from a high-frequency signal varied by each of the left side and the right side of weaving by a position signal from said detector, comparing each peak value or integral value of them, and also comparing a mean value of each low frequency component or a DC component with a set value, a discriminating part 28 for discriminating a shift of the left and the right, or the upper and lower directions to a weld line of the welding torch 11 from its processing signal, and an instructing part 29 for sending a correcting signal to a driving source 6 for moving the welding torch 11 in accordance with its discriminating signal.
