Journal ArticleDOI

Hepatocyte attachment on biodegradable modified chitosan membranes: in vitro evaluation for the development of liver organoids.

TL;DR: In vitro experiments demonstrated that fetal porcine hepatocytes survived at least 14 days when seeded on the chitosan-albumin matrix, demonstrating that this biomaterial can provide suitable cell attachment scaffolds for creating liver tissue organoids.
Journal ArticleDOI

Studies on immobilization of urease in gelatin by cross-linking.

TL;DR: Urease enzyme was immobilized in photographic gelatin by chemical cross-linking using formaldehyde, glutaraldehyde and chromium (III) acetate to study effects of enzyme and cross-linker concentrations, temperature, incubation time and pH on urea hydrolysis.
Journal ArticleDOI

Aluminum carboxymethylcellulose encapsulation of Bacillus sphaericus 2362 for control of Culex spp. (Diptera: Culicidae) larvae

TL;DR: The results suggest that the aluminum CMC-encapsulated form of B. sphaeticus 2362 can be used more efficiently than its free form in the control of mosquito larvae.
Journal ArticleDOI

Urease immobilization into poly(acrylamide) - gelatin gels

TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of crosslinker concentration, enzyme loading, pH, temperature, supports composition and reuse number on activity was studied for an operative and stable system with a suitable conditions for stable operation.
Journal ArticleDOI

Immobilization of Urease into Carboxymethylcellulose - Gelatine System

TL;DR: In this paper, carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) and CMC-gelatin were used as carrier systems for urease immobilization, based on the formation of insoluble salts of CMC and gelatin with chromium(111) ions.
