The purpose of this study is to develop learning materials based on realistic mathematics education approach that are valid, practical and effective to improve problem solving skills and learning independence of class VII students. This research is a development research that uses a design model for materials development according to Thiagarajan, et al. namely 4-D. This trial was carried out in classes VII-3 and VII-4 Padangsidimpuan 5 Middle School. From the results of the study, it was found that developed devices were valid with an average total validity of RPP = 4.46, student books = 4.41, teacher’s books = 4.38, LAS = 4.31; then a practical device can be implemented, with an average of 85% and 91.25%. and effective devices, in terms of a) classical learning completeness of students in 62% I test increased in trial II has reached 92%; and b) student responses to the components of positive learning. Based on the results of the study it was suggested that mathematics teachers can facilitate mathematical learning using quality learning materials and especially by using learning based realistic mathematics education approach.

The objective of this study is to develop learning media by using the Computer Based Instruction (CBI) model for GOST algorithm cryptographic material (Gosudarstvennyi Standard). Besides, the study serves to present learning using computer media, especially in the Informatics Engineering study program. The method used in this study uses the Research and Development (R & D) method. The results of this development research are learning media products in the form of tutorial CDs with the contents of the material: GOST Cryptographic Theory, Encryption Process and Decryption process using alphabet text data. Based on the results of the application and testing of the program, it can be concluded that this application is easy to use. Learning the Gost algorithm in the encoding method utilizing the Computer Based Instructions (CBI) method helps to understand the material and facilitate the learning process.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan pembelajaran dan kemampuan verbal terhadap kemampuan berbicara Bahasa Inggris di SMA. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 14 dan 21 Medan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah rancangan penelitian Treatment by level 2 x 2. Sampel penelitian ini adalah160 orang siswa. Intrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes kemampuan verbal dan observasi kemampuan berbicara bahasa Inggris. Hasil penelitian adalah sebagai berikut. (1) Terdapat perbedaan kemampuan berbicara bahasa Inggris antara siswa yang diajar dengan menggunakan pembelajaran kontekstual dan pembelajaran konvensional. (2) Terdapat interaksi antara pendekatan pembelajaran dan kemampuan verbal terhadap kemamuan berbicara bahasa Inggris SMA. (3) Terdapat perbedaan kemampuan berbicara bahasa Inggris antara siswa yang memiliki kemampuan verbal tinggi dan kemampuan verbal rendah. (4) Terdapat perbedaan kemampuan berbicara bahasa Inggris antara siswa yang memiliki kemampuan verbal rendah yang diajar dengan pembelajaran kontekstual dibanding dengan siswa yang diajar dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Mengetahui kelayakan penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis multimedia interaktif pada mata pelajaran bahasa Inggris materi Transportation, (2) Mengetahui kepraktisan penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis multimedia interaktif pada mata pelajaran bahasa Inggris materi Transportation, (3) Mengetahui keefektifan media pembelajaran berbasis multimedia interaktif pada mata pelajaran bahasa Inggris materi Transportation. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan menggunakan model 4-D. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas III SD Swasta PAB 20 Bandar Klippa yang berjumlah 37 siswa.Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan wawancara, angket, serta lembar soal pre-test dan post-test.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan; (1) Uji kelayakan media pembelajaran oleh ahli materi berada pada kualifikasi sangat layak sebesar 92,72%, serta ahli media berada pada kualifikasi sangat layak sebesar 96%, (2) Uji kepraktisan media pembelajaran yang diperoleh dari ketiga guru mata pelajaran bahasa Inggris di tiga sekolah yang berbeda, berada pada kualifikasi sangat layak sebesar 94,67%, (3) Uji keefektifan menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar siswa yang dibelajaran menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis multimedia interaktif dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 87,2 dan lebih tinggi dari siswa yang dibelajarkan tanpa menggunakan media pembelajaran dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 61,5. Dengan demikian, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis multimedia interaktif yang dikembangkan oleh peneliti layak, praktis dan efektif untuk mendukung pembelajaran bahasa Inggris di kelas III Sekolah Dasar. Abstract : This study aims to: (1) Determine the feasibility of using interactive multimedia-based learning media in English for Transportation, (2) Knowing the practicality of using interactive multimedia-based learning media in English for Transportation materials, (3) Knowing the effectiveness of learning media based on interactive multimedia on English subjects, Transportation material. This type of research is a research development (Research and Development) using the 4-D model. The subjects in this study were students of class III SD Private PAB 20 Bandar Klippa, totaling 37 students. Data collection techniques in this study used interviews, questionnaires, and pre-test and post-test question sheets. The results showed; (1) The feasibility test of learning media by material experts is at a very decent qualification of 92.72%, and media experts are at a very decent qualification of 96%, (2) The practicality test of learning media is obtained from the three English subject teachers in three different schools, are in very feasible qualifications of 94.67%, (3) The effectiveness test shows that there is a significant difference between student learning outcomes using interactive multimedia-based learning media with an average score of 87.2 and higher. of students who were taught without using learning media with an average value of 61.5. Thus, it can be concluded that the interactive multimedia-based learning media developed by researchers is feasible, practical and effective to support English learning in class III elementary schools. Pengembangan media pembelajaeran berbasis multimedia interaktif pada mata pelajaran bahasa inggris materi transportation kelas iii sd swasta pab 20 bandar klippa t.a 2020/2021

This study aims to develop students' activity sheets with a scientific approach to learn English. This research uses research and development (R & D), Van den Akker model covering three main aspects: substantive, procedural, and theoretical-empirical. Data collection techniques were conducted using questionnaires, observation sheets, and test data. Questionnaires were used to determine perceptions on the development of students' activity sheets, and observation sheets were used to obtain students' activity data, as well as tests used to obtain learning result data. The result of this research is a validation of students' activity sheets is good, this can be seen from the validation done by the validator, which gained from design expert validation obtained an average score of 3.53, validation from the material experts earned an average score of 3.93, whereas the expert validation of educational practitioners obtained an average score of 4.00. Thus, it can be concluded that the students' activity sheets with a scientific approach developed by researchers deserve to be used as a teaching material to support the fourth grade of primary school.
