Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blower reduced in noise and an air conditioner using it. SOLUTION: This blower having a plurality of blades disposed around a rotating shaft and rotated to blow air, is provided with a sound absorbing member disposed in each blade, a means provided on the blade surface where the sound absorbing member is disposed to thereby disturb the flow of the air flowing on the blade surface, and an opening provided on the blade surface where the air disturbed by the disturbing means flows to communicate with the sound absorbing member.
