Graph database models can be defined as those in which data structures for the schema and instances are modeled as graphs or generalizations of them, and data manipulation is expressed by graph-oriented operations and type constructors. These models took off in the eighties and early nineties alongside object-oriented models. Their influence gradually died out with the emergence of other database models, in particular geographical, spatial, semistructured, and XML. Recently, the need to manage information with graph-like nature has reestablished the relevance of this area. The main objective of this survey is to present the work that has been conducted in the area of graph database modeling, concentrating on data structures, query languages, and integrity constraints.

Summary) The abstract should follow the structure of the article (relevance, degree of exploration of the problem, the goal, the main results, conclusion) and characterize the theoretical and practical significance of the study results. The abstract should not contain wording echoing the title, cumbersome grammatical structures and abbreviations. The text should be written in scientific style. The volume of abstracts (summaries) depends on the content of the article, but should not be less than 250 words. All abbreviations must be disclosed in the summary (in spite of the fact that they will be disclosed in the main text of the article), references to the numbers of publications from reference list should not be made. The sentences of the abstract should constitute an integral text, which can be made by use of the words “consequently”, “for example”, “as a result”. Avoid the use of unnecessary introductory phrases (eg, “the author of the article considers...”, “The article presents...” and so on.)

 Group announcement logic (GAL) and coalition announcement logic (CAL) allow us to reason about whether it is possible for groups and coalitions of agents to achieve their desired epistemic goals through truthful public communication. The difference between groups and coalitions in such a context is that the latter make their announcements in the presence of possible adversarial counter-announcements. As epistemic goals may involve some agents remaining ignorant, counter-announcements may preclude coalitions from reaching their goals. We study the relative expressivity of GAL and CAL and provide some results involving their more well-known sibling APAL. We also discuss how the presence of memory alters the relationship between groups and coalition.

We consider multi-modal logics interpreted over edge-labelled graphs with a modality # ,w here#ϕ means 'ϕ is accessible by an edge with some label'. In a logic with finitely many edge labels, # is definable, but if the set of labels is infinite, it is an independent modality. We axioma- tise multi-modal K, deterministic multi-modal K ,a ndPDL with converse and a single nominal, extended with #. The latter gives an axiomatisation of the logic PDL path introduced in (3).

Logics with an existential modality

In this article, we study a minimal change approach to preference dynamics. We treat a set of preferences as a special kind of theory, and define minimal change preference contraction and revision operations in the spirit of the Alchourron, Gardenfors, and Makinson theory of belief revision. We characterise minimal contraction of preference sets by a set of postulates and prove a representation theorem. We also give a linear time algorithm which implements minimal contraction by a single preference. We then define minimal contraction by a set of preferences, and show that the problem of a minimal contraction by a set of preferences is NP-hard.

Model-checking resource logics with production and consumption of resources is a computationally hard and often undecidable problem We show that it is more feasible under the assumption that there is at least one diminishing resource, that is, a resource which is consumed by every action

Resource logics with a diminishing resource: extended abstract

We propose a new qualitative spatial logic for reasoning about part-whole relations between geometries (sets of points) represented in different geospatial datasets, in particular crowd-sourced datasets. Since geometries in crowd-sourced data can be less inaccurate or precise, we buffer geometries by a margin of error or level of tolerance σ, and define part-whole relation for buffered geometries. The relations between geometries considered in the logic are: buffered part of (BPT), Near and Far. We provide a sound and complete axiomatisation of the logic with respect to metric models, and show that its satisfiability problem is NP-complete.
