A control oscillator voltage, the modulation sensitivity compensation broadband compensates automatically and continuously over a wide bandwidth modulation sensitivity changes resulting from changes in the center frequency of the oscillations. The oscillator comprises an array direction (30) coupled to the input of a network oscillator (20) for controlling the central frequency. A modulation network (50) is also coupled to the network input oscillator (20) via a compensation network (40). The compensation network (40) continuously varies the coupling between the modulation network (50) and the network oscillator (20) in response to control signals applied to the input (32) of the steering network (30) so as to compensate the variations in modulation sensitivity.

Wideband modulation sensitivity compensated voltage controlled oscillator

In a voltage-controlled oscillation circuit, a parallel resonance circuit which is formed by connecting a coil (an inductive element) and a capacitor (a capacitive element) in parallel with each other is provided between a control terminal and a resonance circuit. A control voltage is inputted at the control terminal and is supplied to the resonance circuit through the parallel resonance circuit, so that the resonance frequency of the resonance circuit is responsive to the control voltage; an oscillation stage of the voltage-controlled oscillation circuit oscillates at that resonance frequency. The oscillation output of the oscillation stage is outputted at an output terminal from a buffer stage through an output matching stage.

Volage-controlled oscillation circuit with an impedance element for carrier-to-noise compensation

A modulatable oscillator for radio frequencies is disclosed in which the single resonant tank includes a tightly coupled varactor diode for wideband modulation and frequency control. Nonlinearities introduced by the varactor diode are compensated by predistortion of the modulated signal yielding a predetermined modulation characteristic which is maintained over temperature.

Single resonant tank modulated oscillator

An exceptionally wideband, synthesizer controlled voltage controlled oscillator is disclosed which is characterized by a plurality of pin diode frequency shift networks which, when actuated shifts the frequency of the oscillator in selectable binary steps within a wide frequency range in the order of 48 MHz. Special means are included to prevent undesireable parasitic oscillation modes when such frequency shift networks are in an inactuated, switched off mode. A multiple varactor tuning circuit is provided for selecting a precise frequency within a relatively narrow frequency band on the order of 6 MHz.

Wideband, synthesizer switched element voltage controlled oscillator

A transistor oscillator for the microwave band, utilizing CLAPP-circuit configuration, in which a small additional capacitance is connected in series with collector-base capacitance and is disposed between the base and ground. The additional capacitance may be in the form of a trimming capacitor, varactor elements or a line section having a length of less than λ/4, and where strip line technology is employed high frequency filter chokes may be employed in the form of line sections, each of a length of λ/4 whose ends are short circuited over blocking capacitors.
