Twinkling-guided ultrasound detection of polymethyl methacrylate as a potential breast biopsy marker: a comparative investigation
Christine U. Lee,Matthew W. Urban,A. Lee Miller,Susheil Uthamaraj,James W. Jakub,Gina K. Hesley,Benjamin G. Wood,Nathan J. Brinkman,James L. Herrick,Nicholas B. Larson,Michael J. Yaszemski,James F. Greenleaf +11 more
TL;DR: In this article , a manipulable polymeric material, polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA), which twinkles and has measurable surface roughness and porosity that likely contribute to twinkling was investigated.

TL;DR: High LDL underlies the complex relationships between vascular atherosclerosis and lower mtDNA CN, and finds no evidence supporting a causal association for lower mt DNA CN with higher CHD risk or higher LDL, but bi-directional univariable and multivariable MR analyses provided strong evidence indicating higher LDL level is causally associated with lower mitochondrial DNA copy number, and CHD was weakly associated with higher mtDNACN.
Journal ArticleDOI
Abstract P177: Circulating Ketone Bodies and Mortality in Heart Failure: A Community Cohort Study
Rebecca Oyetoro,Katie Conners,Jungnam Joo,Sarah E. Turecamo,Maureen Sampson,Anna Wolska,Alan T. Remaley,Margery A. Connelly,James D. Otvos,Nicholas B. Larson,Suzette J. Bielinski,Joe Shearer,Véronique L. Roger +12 more
TL;DR: In this article , the authors determined the relationship between total ketone bodies (KB) and clinical characteristics in a community heart failure (HF) cohort and assessed the association between KB and all-cause mortality.
