Journal ArticleDOI

The potential of mangosteen (Garcinia mangostana) peel extract, combined with demineralized freeze-dried bovine bone xenograft, to reduce ridge resorption and alveolar bone regeneration in preserving the tooth extraction socket.

TL;DR: It was determined that MPEs combined with graft materials on a preserved tooth extraction socket can reduce NfKb, RANK, and osteoclasts also increase of BMP2 and osteoblast, and the induction of MPEs and DFBBX is effective in reducing inflammation, lowering osteoclast, decreasing alveolar bone resorption, and also increasing B MP2 expression and alveolars bone regeneration.
Journal ArticleDOI

Study Biocompatibility and Osteogenic Differentiation Potential of Human Umbilical Cord Mesenchymal Stem Cells (hUCMSCs) with Gelatin Solvent

TL;DR: The study concluded that hUCMSCs isolated from human umbilical cord was capable of undergoing in vitro osteogenesis, indicating its potential as allogeneic stem cells for clinical application in bone tissue engineering.
Journal ArticleDOI

A potential therapy of human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells for bone regeneration on osteoporotic mandibular bone.

TL;DR: The hUCMSC has a high osteogenic effect and increases the osteoporotic mandibular bone regeneration on the animal model that is showed by the increase of the level of TGF-β1, Runx2, and osteoblasts.
Journal ArticleDOI

Phenotype Characteristics and Osteogenic Differentiation Potential of Human Mesenchymal Stem Cells Derived from Amnion Membrane (HAMSCs) and Umbilical Cord (HUC-MSCs).

TL;DR: Both hAMSCs and hUC-MSCs had phenotype characteristics of mesenchymal stem cell and showed ostegenic differentiation potential.
Journal ArticleDOI

The effect of combined Moringa oleifera and demineralized freeze-dried bovine bone xenograft on the amount of osteoblast and osteoclast in the healing of tooth extraction socket of Cavia cobaya

TL;DR: It can be concluded that the combination of Moringa oleifera leaf extract and DFDBBX at 2% cocentration can increase the number of osteoblasts and decrease osteoclasts in the healing of tooth extraction sockets of cavia cobaya.
