Reporting Sexual Assaults to the Police: the Israeli BDSM Community
TL;DR: The authors explored what considerations members of the sadomasochistic community in Israel take into account in deciding whether to report sexual offenses and victimization to the police, including fear of the victim's being blamed, a desire to be discreet and not out themselves or others as having an interest in BDSM, shame about the practices that may have been part of the consensual part of a scene, difficulty explaining BDSM and difficulty proving assault specifically when it requires explaining distinctions between play violence and assault.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors present findings from an evaluation of a large work release program in the Israeli Prison Service, which uses an integrative therapeutic approach which combines work release with a series of other program elements, and whether this integration of multiple program elements leads to strong benefits in terms of reincarceration and re-arrests.
