The primitive equations of the polluted atmosphere as a weak and strong limit of the 3D Navier-Stokes equations in downwind-matching coordinates.

TL;DR: In this paper, a meteorologically more meaningful coordinate system was considered and the analytical consequences of this coordinate change were incorporated into the governing equations, and the weak convergence theorem still holds for this altered system.
Journal ArticleDOI

Weak solution of the merged mathematical equations of the polluted atmosphere

TL;DR: In this article, a generalisation of their result translated to the atmosphere is presented, extending the fluid velocity equations with an additional convection-diffusion equation representing pollutants in the atmosphere.
