Assistive Technology in Mathematics Learning for Visually Impaired Students

Creative thinking is one of the essential skills in science learning. Creative thinking skills become a source of strength in the development, invention, and investigation to face the obstacles in the 21st century. This study aimed to determine the creative thinking skills of junior high school students in science learning by gender. This study used descriptive analysis with quantitative data. Data collection by tests, interviews, and observation sheets. The participants of this study were 94 students from three different schools consisting of 35 male and 59 female students. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling. Indicators of critical thinking are fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration. Creative thinking skills in this study divided into three categories: high, medium, and low. The result of this study showed that the male students have a high percentage of flexibility, the average percentage in both originality and fluency, and a low percentage in elaboration. Female students have a high percentage in fluency, the medium percentage in elaboration, and a low percentage in both originality and flexibility.

The purpose of this study was to produce a mathematics learning strategy book for blind students in junior high school. This book contains a general description of the characteristics of blind students, how to teach mathematics to blind students and class management strategies. This study is categorized as research and development. Development model in this study was adapted from Borg & Gall. The research instruments were  validation sheets, questionnaire assessment for teachers and questionnaire assessment for students. . Data analysis was done by converting the quantitative data into qualitative data in the form specified categories. FAI, F.TEKNIK dan F.KIP). Pendataan dilakukan dengan tehnik wawancara, dan dokumentasi/literature,unsur variabel yang diteliti meliputi program KWU, mentor KWU, kurikulum dan praktek lapangan/bazaar. In order to realize a quality learning process, it requires professional teachers, especially in planning learning which is teacher preparation before implementing the learning process when the learning process takes place. Planning is determining what will be done. Planning contains a series of broad decisions and explanations of objectives, determination of policies, determination of programs, determination of specific methods and procedures and determination of activities based on daily schedules. This research took place at the Baburrohmah SMPI, Jurangsari Hamlet, Middle Hemisphere Village, Mojosari District, Mojokerto Regency. The type of research in this study is included in quantitative and qualitative research. The technique used to collect data on whether the teacher prepares a learning plan well in the teaching and learning process is a questionnaire (questionnaire) that has previously been tested for validity and reliability according to the standards. Subsequent data analysis was carried out with the help of the SPSS version 22.0 computer program to determine the level of contribution between independent variables and bound and histogram. Based on the results of data analysis regarding the relationship of learning planning with student learning outcomes, it can be concluded that: there is a relationship between learning planning with learning outcomes of class VIII students of SMPI Baburrohmah but very low and not significant. This is evidenced by the value of r-count (0.145) ranging from 0,000 to 0.200, and r-count (0.145) is smaller than r-table (0.254) at a significant level a = 0.05. The magnitude of the relationship (Coefficient of Determination) between Learning Planning (variable X1), with Learning Outcomes (variable Y) class VIII Baburrohmah SMPI in 2016/2017 amounting to 02.11%, the remaining 91.89% is influenced by other factors.

Korelasi Antara Perencanaan Pembelajaran Dengan Hasil Belajar Di SMPI Baburrohmah Mojosari Mojokerto 2017-2018

The purpose of this study was to explain the perceptions of the final year students of FKIP UMPRI towards Muhammadiyah and as a material for evaluating the advancement of Muhammadiyah cadre education methods within the university scope. This analysis is categorized as a descriptive study with a survey method. The research subjects during this study were all final year students in the 2019-2020 academic years from five study programs in FKIP UMPRI. The data analysis technique in this study was the following subsequent steps: (1) determining the score; (2) confirming the category; (3) creating the evaluation results using the program Excel Microsoft 2010. The results of this study are the perceptions of UMPRI final year students towards Muhammadiyah at the amount of antipathy to Muhammadiyah by 7%, the level of neutrality towards Muhammadiyah by 38%, the level of sympathy for Muhammadiyah by 35%, and also the level of Muhammadiyah cadres by 20%. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan persepsi mahasiswa tingkat akhir FKIP (Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan) UMPRI (Universitas Muhammadiyah Pringsewu Lampung) terhadap Muhammadiyah dan sebagai bahan evaluasi kemajuan metode pendidikan kader Muhammadiyah di lingkungan universitas. A nalisis penelitian ini metode deskriptif dengan metode survei , s ubjek penelitian selama penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa tingkat akhir tahun akademik 2019-2020 dari lima prodi di FKIP UMPRI. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini: (1) menentukan skor; (2) mengkonfirmasikan kategori; (3) Membuat hasil evaluasi dengan menggunakan program Excel Microsoft 2010. Hasil penelitian ini adalah persepsi mahasiswa tahun akhir UMPRI terhadap Muhammadiyah yaitu tingkat antipati terhadap Muhammadiyah sebesar 7%, tingkat netralitas terhadap Muhammadiyah sebesar 38%, tingkat simpati terhadap Muhammadiyah sebesar 35%, demikian pula tingkat kader Muhammadiyah sebesar 20%.

: This study aims to describe: (1) the level of creative thinking of MTs. on a flat wake  student gender male, (2) the level of creative thinking of MTs. on a flat wake  student gender female. The type of research used in this study is descriptive qualitative research, where the subjects were taken using purposive sampling technique. The subjek of this study were 6 students with details of 3 male students and 3 female students. This study uses data analisys technique triangulation of sources that is by reducing data, presenting data, and draw conclusions. The blind students have limitations in receiving information, they are only a hold of the senses of hearing and touch, so understanding of abstract mathematical objects understood through verbal description of teacher with concrete objects directly fingered. This can result in a lack of ability of students to accept the concepts being. The acceptance of blind students in understanding the concept of geometry, include: 1) the students' attention to the teacher's explanation; 2) the pattern of asking; and 3) the pattern of answers. Reception pattern blind students in understanding the concepts learned can be viewed through direct observation during the learning activities with the help of a data recording device handycame. The data has been analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion and validity of the data obtained by using triangulation time. The result showed that blind students have a pattern of acceptance in understanding the concept of geometry, as follows: 1) the students' attention to the explanation of the teacher in the learning merely listened without linking with the previous concept; 2) the pattern command asks merely asking the teacher is less clear, which is not directly related to the concept studied; 3) the pattern of students in answering questions of teachers, obtained from the statements that have been previously informed. The responses given by final year FKIP UMPRI Lampung students to Muhammadiyah were different even though the treatment given was the same in the regeneration process. Whereas experience in the organization as a cadre is very important in dealing with pandemic conditions, so that it affects student learning achievement. This is the background of this research which aims to reveal the learning achievements of Muhammadiyah cadres within the scope of universities in the era of covid-19 so that it can be a consideration for Muhammadiyah universities to further strengthen Muhammadiyah cadres and prospective Muhammadiyah cadres through better regeneration programs. This type of research is a comparative quantitative study with a population of all final year students of FKIP UMPRI, amounting to 268. The sample in this study was 20% of the population using a proportional cluster random sampling technique of 54 students. The use of data analysis techniques in this study is a t-test with test prerequisites, namely normality test and homogeneity test. Based on data analysis, it was found that there was no difference in learning achievement between Muhammadiyah cadres and non-Muhammadiyah cadres in the scope of universities in the covid-19 era.

Learning Achievements of Muhammadiyah Cadres in Higher Education During Covid 19

This study is a research and development (RD) to compile and develop teaching materials for mathematics an integrated set of Islamic values. The development of teaching materials is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students at the set with one cause, namely the behavior or morals of students in learning and outside learning is not good. The subjects of the study were VII grade students of SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Ambarawa. The research method is development research by adopting the Thiagarajan steps which are known as the 4D development model, namely: Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate. The results of the validation from the experts show that the feasibility level of teaching materials is in the quite feasible category or can be used but it needs to be revised slightly, with the percentage acquisition for material experts at mathematics 84.52%, material experts at Islamic values 80%, experts learning media 77.86%. The results of student responses showed that students gave a positive response to the teaching materials shown by the percentage of acquisition of responses that strongly agreed with the mathematics learning module on the interest indicator 61.59%, material indicator 53.91%, and language indicator 68.11%. In conclusion, the integrated set of mathematics teaching materials of Islamic values is feasible to use with an average percentage of validation results of 80.79% and an average percentage of student positive response results of 61.20%.
