The practices of virtual reality marketing in the tourism sector, a case study of Bali, Indonesia

This research was conducted to determine the effect of experiential marketing, social media marketing, and brand trust partially on repurchase intention. This research was conducted on OVO application users in Denpasar City. This study uses a quantitative approach. Respondents have taken as many as 160 respondents with a Non-probability sampling technique with the purposive sampling method. In research data obtained through the distribution of questionnaires. The testing method used in this study is the Linear Regression Test. The results in this study are experiential marketing, social media marketing, and brand trust partially positive and significant effect on repurchase intention.

The Effect of Experiential Marketing, Social Media Marketing, and Brand Trust on Repurchase Intention in Ovo Applications

The social confinement resulting from the COVID-19 crisis temporarily reduced greenhouse gas emissions. Although experts contend that the decrease in pollution rates was not drastic, some surveys detect growth in social concern about the climate. In this new climate-conscious environment, municipalities and local governments are promoting a new way of living and caring for cities, even before they can regain national and international freedom of movement. This work analyzes the connections between new climate awareness arising from the COVID-19 crisis, proposals of sustainable citizenship around the world, and its communication on Twitter to educate the new eco-conscious audience. The methodology mixes quantitative and qualitative analysis, using the Twitonomy Premium tool and the Twitter research tool with data extracted at the end of December 2020. Among the top ten most influential and active accounts, the results show educational institutions, local institutions, companies, neighborhoods, associations, and influencers. The impossibility of living in the city has not prevented citizen education and commitment to make real change for when that city and its citizens return to normality. However, this new normality must be different: more ecological, more responsible, more sustainable, and practiced from early childhood.

Lifestyle is a person's lifestyle in the world expressed in his activities, interests, and opinions Widjaja (2009). Lifestyle describes a whole person in interacting in their environment. Lifestyle or lifestyle of humans today grow in tandem with the history of economic globalization and the transformation of consumption capitalism which is characterized by the mushrooming of shopping centers. Through many media that exploit the luxurious lifestyle around the development of food, fashion, and fun, humans indirectly need to adjust to these developments. Along with the lifestyle changes that are fixated on food, fashion, and fun, the learning centers began in Bali, especially in Badung Regency in recent years. The data analysis used in this study is CB-SEM (Covariance Based-Structural Equation Modeling) with the AMOS (Analysis of Moment Structure) program. The data used in this study are primary data obtained directly from the source where in this study the primary data that will be used is obtained from the questionnaire. The results of the study show that lifestyle marketing, brand personality, brand image, and customer satisfaction have a positive and significant influence on customer loyalty and impluse buying at Starbuck in Badung Regency.

Local brand franchise business, particularly culinary, has been rapidly developed in this disruption era. This is in line with the society's need for delicious but affordable culinary. There is a comprehensive relation-blend of cultural, business, and lifestyle responses. This research examined the factors affecting local brand franchises in the business competition in the disruption era. Using a descriptive qualitative method, the results indicated that local brand franchises are a part of economic disruption, because they create an entirely new market, providing high-quality products at lower prices. In this disruption era, local brand franchises are limited by binding agreements on franchising, courage in creativity and innovation, responsive to instant culture, adaptive to changes in consumer lifestyle, multi-level hegemony, and capitalism.

Local brand franchise competition in the disruption era

The Covid-19 pandemic has caused a decrease in the number of formal workforce participation at the Denpasar branch of BPJamsostek. This study aims to reveal the causes of the decline in the number of BPJamsostek participation in formal workers at the Denpasar Branch during the Covid-19 period. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The results showed that the factors causing the decline in the number of formal workforce participation at the Denpasar branch office of BPJamsostek during the covid-19 period were due to: a) human factors, namely lack of knowledge of the company and formal workers, b) machine factors, namely not knowing the BPJamsostek application, c) the method factor, namely the socialization that was carried out was still lacking, d) the material factor, namely the company and formal workers did not know the program and benefits of participating in BPJamsostek, e) the money factor, namely the existence of covid-19 which burdened the company and workers whose work contracts had been terminated to pay membership fee, f) marketing factor, namely the lack of socialization carried out by the Denpasar branch of BPJamsostek. The government and BPJamsostek Denpasar need to work together to find a strategy to overcome the decline in the number of formal workforce participation during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Analisis Penyebab Penurunan Jumlah Kepesertaan Tenaga Kerja Formal Di BPJAMSOSTEK Denpasar Selama Masa COVID-19

Abstract As a region that relies on the tourism sector as the priority then, when the Covid-19 pandemic hit the world, Bali became one of the most affected regions. Efforts are being made to drive the MSME sector in overcoming the financial crisis. The problem discussed was how the impact of MSMEs as the economy spearhead in the Covid-19 pandemic situation. The urgency of this research is to contribute to the practice of community empowerment through the MSME sector. The research method used is a qualitative method with a case study approach, to explore and comprehensively describe the phenomena that occurred in the MSME sector. This research was conducted in Bali Province, the determination of informants was carried out purposively. The results showed that MSMEs had become the economy spearheaded during the pandemic, become a solution to economic growth, accommodated the process of quadrant shifting from tourism performer into MSME performer, implemented economy digitization at various stages, and business activities. The sharing economy pattern has been formed in MSME business practices, through various related business sectors. The findings of this study are (1) a change in the mindset of the people who initially had a mentality as workers, now have an entrepreneurial spirit, and (2) the application of the sharing economy as an exchange of values in the MSME sector. The limitation of the research is that the research location is only in one area. The social implication is that MSME becomes a solution to prevent the potential social vulnerability.
