Development of a pneumatic screw conveyor design and substantiation of its parameters

TL;DR: In this article, the power characteristics of a pneumatic screw conveyor for moving various types of loose materials depending on the influence of pressure and air volume have been determined, and the dependences of the screw-feeder efficiency on the change in the area of a hopper hole, the rotation frequency of a screw feeder and the value of an operating air pressure in a technological line have been analyzed.
Journal Article

Mathematical Model of a Dynamic Process of Transporting a Bulk Material by Means of a Tube Scraping Conveyor

TL;DR: In this paper, a mathematical model of a technological process of moving a bulk material (grain) by means of a cable with a connected scraper is proposed, where the model is presented as a system of elastic one-dimensional bodies, which are seamlessly moved by the bulk material.
Journal ArticleDOI

Improvement of the organizational-economic mechanism of resource-saving at the machine building enterprise

TL;DR: Determination of the most efficient ways of setting up the organizational economic mechanism of resource-saving basing on the qualitative and quantitative factors of the resources application, using the resourcenomy techniques and taking into account the possibility to provide the enterprise with technologies, staff, control system, as well as the influence of each of the Factors of the outside and inside environment of the enterprise, has been presented.
Journal ArticleDOI

Influence of Curvature and Cross-sectional Shape of Cylindrical Surface Formed by Turning on Its Roughness

TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated specially designed test specimens using their own method, which excluded the influence of other parameters on the roughness forming process, and the diameters of the cylindrical surfaces of test specimens were selected taking into account the spindle rotation speed of the lathe.
