Tree-ring data set for dendroclimatic reconstructions and dendrochronological dating in European Russia
O Solomina,Vladimir Matskovsky,Ekaterina Dolgova,Veronika Kuznetsova,N. A. Semenyak,T.S. Bebchuk,Vladimir Mikhalenko,Alexey A. Karpukhin,Bulat F. Khasanov +8 more
TL;DR: In this article , the authors presented a 15 years of tree-ring width measurements from 64 sites of living trees and ten historical chronologies based on archaeological and construction wood up to year 572 CE, and more than 450000 measured and cross-dated tree rings.
Journal ArticleDOI
Contrasting climate signals across a Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris L.) tree-ring network in the Middle Volga (European Russia)
Veronika Kuznetsova,O Solomina +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors introduced 16 new Scots pine tree ring width (TRW) chronologies (Pinus sylvestris L.) from the region and use a dendroclimatological approach to determine what climatic factors drive radial growth.
Journal ArticleDOI
Late-Holocene advances of the Greater Azau Glacier (Elbrus area, Northern Caucasus) revealed by 14C dating of paleosols
O Solomina,A.L. Alexandrovskiy,Elya Zazovskaya,E. A. Konstantinov,V. A. Shishkov,T. M. Kuderina,Irina Bushueva +6 more
TL;DR: In this article , the authors identified three paleosols buried in the left lateral moraines of the Greater Azau Glacier (Northern Caucasus) were identified in an excavated outcrop (43.2658 N, 42.4766 E, 2370m a.s.l.).
Journal ArticleDOI
Climate signal strength in tree-ring width of spruce growing in the Solovetsky Islands (Russia)
TL;DR: In this article , the authors used 14 spruce tree-ring width local chronologies from sites that are located in different landscape conditions and combined them into a composite spruce chronology covering the period of 1676-2016 CE with EPS exceeding the 0.85 threshold.
