Journal ArticleDOI

Intraoperative magnetic resonance imaging findings during deep brain stimulation surgery.

TL;DR: Intraoperative MR imaging can be safely performed and may assist in demonstrating acute changes involving intracranial hemorrhage and air during DBS surgery, and selective use of T2 FLAIR and T2 FSE imaging can confirm the presence of hemorrhage or air and preclude the need for CT examinations.
Journal ArticleDOI

Does the Poly (ADP-Ribose) Polymerase Inhibitor Veliparib Merit Further Study for Cancer-Associated Weight Loss? Observations and Conclusions from Sixty Prospectively Treated Patients.

TL;DR: The addition of the PARP inhibitor veliparib to chemotherapy does not appear to result in notable weight gain or in weight maintenance in patients with advanced cancer, and interventions other than PARP inhibitors should be considered for the palliation/treatment of cancer-associated weight loss.
Journal ArticleDOI
