Systematic x‐ray photoelectron spectroscopic study of La1−xSrx‐based perovskite‐type oxides

TL;DR: In this article, a group of La1−xSrx-based mixed-metal perovskite-type oxides of interest in the development of oxygen separation membranes were analyzed using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy.
Journal ArticleDOI

X-ray photoelectron spectroscopic and ion scattering study of the SrTiO3(001) surface

TL;DR: In this paper, the chemical and structural properties of several as-received (unspecified and TiO2 terminated) SrTiO3(0.0.1) surfaces have been analyzed prior to and following UHV and O2 annealing using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), time-of-flight scattering and recoiling spectrometry (TOF-SARS), and low energy electron diffraction (LEED).
Journal ArticleDOI

An electrical conductivity relaxation study of La0.6Sr0.4Fe0.8Co0.2O3−δ

TL;DR: In this article, electrical conductivity relaxation (ECR) experiments were carried out on La 0.6 Sr 0.4 Fe 0.8 Co 0.2 O 3− δ (LSFCO) in the temperature range of 840 to 910 °C and in the oxygen partial pressure range of 0.01 to 0.05 atm.
Journal ArticleDOI

Photoelectron binding energy shifts observed during oxidation of group IIA, IIIA and IVA elemental surfaces

TL;DR: In this article, an extensive re-evaluation of XPS binding energies and binding energy shifts (ΔBE's) from metals, oxides and the carbonates of the group II, III and IVA elements (exceptions are Be, Mg and Hf) was carried out using a substrate specific BE referencing approach.
