Journal ArticleDOI

Electrodes modified by electrodeposition of CoTAA complexes as selective oxygen cathodes in a direct methanol fuel cell

TL;DR: In this article, the oxygen reduction reaction at cobalt tetraazaanulene (CoTAA) modified electrodes was investigated by electrodeposition of CoTAA on glassy carbon (GC).
Journal ArticleDOI

Conducting polymer electrodes modified by metal tetrasulfonated phthalocyanines: Preparation and electrocatalytic behaviour towards dioxygen reduction in acid medium

TL;DR: In this paper, the electrocatalytic behavior of polypyrrole and polyaniline electrodes towards oxygen reduction in acid medium was examined and the insertion of iron or cobalt phthalocyanines into the conducting polymer during the electropolymerisation process was carried out and the modified electrodes were characterised by esr and uv-visible differential reflectance spectroscopy.
Journal ArticleDOI

Mechanism of oxygen electroreduction at polypyrrole electrodes modified by cobalt phthalocyanine

TL;DR: In this paper, the number of electrons transferred during the oxygen reduction at polypyrrole (PPy) films containing cobalt tetrasulphonated phthalocyanine (CoTsPc) was determined using the rotating disk electrode technique.
Journal ArticleDOI

Electrocatalytic reduction of dioxygen at macrocycle conducting polymer electrodes in acid media

TL;DR: In this paper, functionalized transition metal macrocyclic monomers were synthesized in order to prepare electron-conducting polymer-based electrodes, and the electrocatalytic behaviour of such electrodes, particularly the influence of the macrocycle skeleton towards dioxygen reduction, was examined.
Journal ArticleDOI

Electrocatalytic reduction of oxygen at iron phthalocyanine modified polymer electrodes

TL;DR: In this paper, modified electrodes with tetrasulphonated iron phthalocyanine (FeTSPc) intercalated in a conducting polymer film were prepared and studied by cyclic voltammetry.
