Wear in simulated railway overhead current collection systems
TL;DR: In this paper, the wear rate of the pantograph contact strip and the overhead contact copper wire was investigated using a wear machine simulating a railway current collection system, and wear performance at speeds from 60 to 250 km h−1 was examined with and without current collection.
