TL;DR: In this paper, a second-order compact finite difference algorithm, involving a secondorder compact scheme for the streamfunction-velocity (ψ−−u) form of Navier-Stokes equations and a fourth-order finite difference (FDF) algorithm for the energy equation, is employed to solve the steady-state laminar magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) natural convection problems.

TL;DR: In this article, double-diffusive convection flows of a binary mixed electrically conducting fluid in the presence of a uniform horizontal magnetic field and heat source are investigated numerically in a rectangular cavity with the upper and lower walls being insulated and impermeable and the left and right walls being constant temperatures and concentrations.
