Pre-eclampsia-like syndrome induced by severe COVID-19: a prospective observational study.

TL;DR: To investigate the incidence of clinical, ultrasonographic and biochemical findings related to pre‐eclampsia (PE) in pregnancies with COVID‐19, and to assess their accuracy to differentiate between PE and the PE‐like features associated with CO VID‐19.
Journal ArticleDOI

Evaluating the Effect of Pravastatin in Early-Onset Fetal Growth Restriction: A Nonrandomized and Historically Controlled Pilot Study.

TL;DR: In women with early-onset FGR, treatment with pravastatin 40 mg daily was associated with significant improvement in the angiogenic profile and median pregnancy duration and median birthweight increased and the incidence of PE was reduced in treated women.
Journal ArticleDOI

Diagnostic accuracy of first-trimester combined screening for early-onset and preterm pre-eclampsia at 8–10 compared with 11–13 weeks' gestation

TL;DR: The ability of first‐trimester combined screening for pre‐eclampsia (PE) to predict early‐onset and preterm PE when pregnancy‐associated plasma protein‐A (PAPP‐A) and placental growth factor (PlGF) were assessed before vs after 11 weeks' gestation is compared.
Journal ArticleDOI
