In an electric connection box, even if accuracy of a relative position between a first screw passage hole and a first screw hole, as well as accuracy of a relative position between a second screw passage hole and a second screw hole, is low, the relative positional relation between the first screw passage hole and the first screw hole, as well as the relative positional relation between the second screw passage hole and the second screw hole, can be adjusted because of the provision of a gap between an outer peripheral surface of a constricted engagement portion of a provisionally-placing projection and a hole-defining peripheral surface of a mounting member at the time of mounting a connection box body on the mounting member so that the passage of a first screw through the first screw passage hole and the first screw hole, as well as the passage of a second screw through the second screw passage hole and the second screw hole, can be easily carried out.

Multi-directional antenna apparatuses, including phased array antennas and/or arrays of multiple antennas, and methods for operating them. In particular, described herein are access point (AP) antenna apparatuses for communicating with one or more station devices by assigning a particular directional beam to each access point, and communicating with each station device using the assigned directional beam. Methods and apparatuses configured to optimize the assignment of one or more directional beam and for communicating between different station devices using assigned directional beams are described. Also described are compact lacunated RF lenses that may be used with the multi-directional antenna apparatuses described herein, having a plurality of holes/openings through the lens body so that an electromagnetic signal entering the lens body from any of the input ports into the lens will exit from each of the output ports at a time delay corresponding to a predetermined steering angle.

Array antennas having a plurality of directional beams

An electric vehicle power distribution module including a chassis containing electric power distribution components. A battery connector is disposed on the chassis for electrically connecting the power distribution components to a battery. A safety cover is secured to the chassis and includes an aperature in a side wall for receiving an electric cable from the battery to be selectively engaged with the battery connector. The aperture is positioned with respect to the battery connector so as to preclude removal of the safety cover from the chassis without disengagement of the electric cable from the battery connector.

Electric vehicle power distribution module

A generally rectangular heat sink is mounted in a conduit box by tabs which are deformed to fit within channels along opposite edges of the heat sink. An access hole in the side of the conduit box and aligned with the channel permits a pin to be inserted therethrough to push the tabs out of the channel and release the heat sink and PC board from the conduit box.

Heat sink and mounting arrangement therefor

A thermally-coupled heat-dissipation apparatus ( 10 ) surrounds a solid state electronic device mounted on an adapter circuit board ( 14 ) or a thermal transfer column ( 74 ) extending upwardly from a main board socketed device. The apparatus ( 10 ) includes at least two heat sinks ( 18 and 20 ) positioned in a spaced parallel relationship on front and back sides ( 22 and 28 ) of the adapter circuit board ( 14 ) or thermal transfer column ( 74 ). A bridge member ( 38 ) thermally couples the two heat sinks ( 18 and 20 ). A plurality of fans ( 42 ) are mounted along outer surfaces of the heat sinks ( 18 and 20 ). In a preferred embodiment, the bridge member ( 38 ) is an additional heat sink, but could be a metal plate in alternate embodiments. The preferred device to cool using the present invention is a computer processor ( 12 ).

Thermally-coupled heat dissipation apparatus for electronic devices

A housing assembly for retaining components of an electronic engine control system is disclosed. Components include electrical and sensor elements mounted on printed circuit boards including heat producing elements on a first board and logic, memory and processor elements together with sensors on a second board. The first board is enclosed within and connected to a main housing so that it provides a heat sink. The second board is electrically connected to the first board within the housing and supports both a fuel command sensor and also engine pressure sensors.
