Proton Conductivity of Nafion 117 as Measured by a Four‐Electrode AC Impedance Method

TL;DR: In this article, the proton conductivity of Nafion 117 was measured under various conditions of humidity and temperature using a four-electrode ac impedance method, and it varied strongly with the humidity and heat-treatment of the membrane.
Journal ArticleDOI

Electrochemical Impedance Study on the Kinetics of Hydrogen Evolution at Amorphous Metals in Alkaline Solution

TL;DR: In this article, a theoretical transfer function derived for the Volmer-Tafel reaction mechanism was used to analyze the hydrogen evolution reaction on amorphous metals and in at has been studied by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy in the frequency range.
Journal ArticleDOI

A simplified model of the lead/acid battery

TL;DR: In this paper, a mathematical model for the simulation of the lead/acid battery has been developed, based on the physical and chemical processes that occur in the battery, which can predict limitations of the discharge capacity caused by different phenomena, such as electrolyte depletion in the pores and coverage of the electroactive surface by precipitated reaction products, as determining by cell geometry and discharged mode.
