A cart includes a projecting load receiving platform mounted on a slide frame in turn mounted for vertical movement on a main frame. A spring mechanism urges the slide frame and platform to an elevated position so that objects may be stacked on the platform without placing them on the floor. As the weight of the stack on the platform increases the platform starts to descend until the cart is full. Conversely as items are removed from the top of the stack the platform elevates so the operator doesn't have to pick up an object from the floor. The spring mechanism uses a plurality of air springs each with a different load rating and operating in a cascading fashion. A pivoting weight operated latch holds the platform in its bottom position until released by a kick plate.

A portable apparatus for moving a workload, comprising a base frame, a translation assembly, a non-telescoping mast, a tilting assembly, a lifting frame, and a hoist assembly. The translation assembly engages the base frame to facilitate movement of the base frame. The non-telescoping mast has a lower end pivotally engaging the base frame, an upper end, and a length extending between the lower end and the upper end. The tilting assembly engages the mast and the base frame to selectively adjust the incline of the mast relative to the base frame. The lifting frame operatively associated with the mast. The hoist assembly engaging the mast and the lifting frame for selectively lifting the lifting frame along at least a portion of the length of the mast.

A pallet jack includes a frame and a pair of outwardly projecting load prongs connected to the frame. The proximal ends of the prongs are connected to a horizontal member on the rear of the frame by brackets that keep the prongs out of the frame proper. A threaded rod is mounted horizontally on the horizontal member and is threaded into the proximal end of each prong, with the two ends of the threaded rod having opposite hand threads. The threaded rod is rotated by a user turning a crank mounted on top of the frame and connected to the adjustment threaded rod by a chain drive, allowing the width between the prongs to be adjusted inwardly or outwardly.

This invention relates to an assembly kit composed of quickly easily interchangeable modular components that can be reconfigured in a number of different ways into a number of different versions of a self supporting frame on wheels to form a multimode and multifunction implement carrier. The purpose is: i) to take advantage of a number of different propulsion means, and ii) to accommodate more suitably a wider range of dependent attached small equipment implements than are presently possible on current known related versions of machines referred to as implement carriers, for example utility tractors, front end loader machines and hydraulic boom excavators.

A two-wheeled hand-truck with attachments, with an elevating mechanism incorporated into the body. The upright rails are tubular, and open on the bottom ends. A crank operated cable and pulley system forcibly extends the elevator downwardly. The attachments allow the body to be converted into a four wheel cart with a variable width wheelbase, and a crank operated, pulley assisted, fork lift, or hoist.
