Pyrrolizidine alkaloids from Senecio gallicus and S. Adonidifolius

TL;DR: Four alkaloids, ligularizine, senkirkine and senecionine N-oxide, were isolated from S. gallicus and two dimensional spectroscopic correlation experiments were performed, permitting the unequivocal assigning of the 1H and 13C NMR spectra of the alkaloid and enabling us to correct some of the data appearing in the literature.
Journal ArticleDOI

Flavonoids from Polygonum minus.

TL;DR: Two new components were isolated from the ether extract of Polygonum minus ; a flavone: 6,7-methylenedioxy-5,3′, 4′, 5′-tetramethoxyflavone and a methyl flavonol: 6.7-4′,5′-dimethylenediooxy-3,5, 3′-trimethoxyFLavone as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI

Acetophenones and terpenoids from Senecio Gallicus

TL;DR: In this article, six new compounds isolated from the aerial part of Senecio gallicus were identified: 7,11,15-trimethyl-3-methylene hexadecan-1,2-diol diacetate; 7, 11,15trimmethyl-3methylenehexadecan 1,2diol; 3,5-bis(3methyl-2-butenyl)-4-acetoxyacetophenone; 3-(2,3-dihydroxy-3 -methyl-butyl)-5-(3-
Journal ArticleDOI

Diterpenoid and other components of Cistus laurifolius

TL;DR: In this article, from the ethanol extract of C. laurifolius, a new diterpene, 6β,8-dihydroxy- ent -13 E -labden-15-oic acid, was isolated.
Journal ArticleDOI

Diterpenes from the latex of Euphorbia broteri

TL;DR: In this paper, six polycyclic diterpenes have been isolated from the latex of Euphorbia broteri Daveau, and their structures were established by spectroscopic methods by chemical correlations and by H/H and C/H correlations in their 1 H NMR and 13 CNMR spectra.
